    Abstract: A nonwoven fabric for a top sheet of an absorbent article has a lengthwise direction and a width direction. The nonwoven fabric has a plurality of units in the width direction including first, second, third and fourth areas extending in the lengthwise direction. The second and fourth areas have a higher content by percentage of fibers that are oriented in the lengthwise direction than the third area. The first area has a higher content by percentage of fibers that are oriented in the width direction than the third area. The second, third area, and fourth area respectively include a predetermined blood lubricity-imparting agent, the blood lubricity-imparting agent, and the blood lubricity-imparting agent. The basis weights of the blood-lubricity imparting agent in the second area and in the fourth area are higher than that of the blood lubricity-imparting agent in the third area.
