Abstract: A steering wheel includes a decorative component and a surface skin on a surface of the rim. The decorative component is formed into a band and a leading-end portion of the decorative component has a tapered form in which an inner edge curves towards an outer circumference of the rim and serves as a curving edge. The surface skin includes a curved-side section adjoining the curving edge and a non-curved-side section adjoining a non-curving edge of the leading-end portion. The curved-side section includes a main body that includes a curving portion which corresponds to the curving edge of the leading-end portion in shape, and an extended portion that extends beyond an apex of the leading-end portion and extends towards the non-curving edge of the leading-end portion of the decorative component. A region of the extended portion beyond the apex is joined to a leading edge of the non-curved-side section.

Abstract: To analyze the concentration of an analyte in a sample, the number of molecules or particles or concentration of the analyte is determined using a table associating at least one piece of information about a plurality of reaction fields generated by splitting a liquid containing the sample, the at least one piece of information being selected from the group consisting of information about the number of positive reaction fields and information about the number of negative reaction fields, with the number of molecules or particles or concentration of the analyte in the sample or in at least some of the plurality of reaction fields.
Abstract: A method for curing an adhesive composition includes: arranging an adhesive composition that transmits laser light of a first wavelength in contact with a surface of a first adherend that contains, at least at its surface, a first light-to-heat conversion material that generates heat by absorbing laser light of the first wavelength; and curing the adhesive composition by irradiating the adhesive composition and the first adherend with laser light of the first wavelength. In a method for manufacturing a bonded structure, a first bonded structure is manufactured by bonding the adhesive composition to the first adherend by using the method for curing an adhesive composition.

Abstract: A sealing apparatus sealing a gap between two members mutually relatively rotatable about an axis in an internal combustion engine, the sealing apparatus comprises an elastic body portion. The elastic body portion is an elastic body including an annular attaching portion attached to one of the two members and centered about the axis, and a seal portion in close contact with another of the two members in a manner in which the other of the two members is slidable. The seal portion includes an annular seal lip portion centered about the axis and an annular dust lip centered about the axis on an atmospheric side on an opposite side of a sealed fluid side with respect to the seal lip portion. The seal lip portion includes a lip tip portion which is an annular projecting body projecting toward the axis and grease is applied to the seal lip portion. The grease contains at least one of a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a mineral oil as a base oil and has a low temperature starting torque of 25 N·cm or less at ?30° C.
