The first insulating member is provided with a first through hole, and projections of the electrode assembly and the first through hole on the bottom wall partially overlap or do not overlap in a thickness direction of the bottom wall.

The end cap assembly comprises an end cap and a pressure relief mechanism. The end cap is provided with a pressure relief hole, and the pressure relief mechanism covers the pressure relief hole. The pressure relief mechanism is made of a polymer material. The pressure relief mechanism is provided with a weakened portion configured to crack when pressure is relieved from the battery cell. Due to the pressure relief mechanism made of a polymer material, not only can gas be steadily discharged from the battery cell when pressure is relieved from the battery cell, but external moisture can also be blocked from penetrating into the battery cell when the battery cell is in normal use, reducing the risk of short circuit of the battery cell.
