Abstract: The present disclosure provides a secondary battery and a top cover assembly thereof. The top cover assembly includes: a top cover plate and a valve sleeve. The top cover plate includes an accommodation groove and a valve part protruding upward from a bottom wall of the accommodation groove, and the valve part is provided with at least one gas exhaust hole that communicates with an interior of the secondary battery. The valve sleeve is located in the accommodation groove and covers the valve part, a gas exhaust passage that communicates with outside is disposed between the valve sleeve and the valve part, and the gas exhaust passage communicates with the at least one gas exhaust hole.

Abstract: A top cap assembly of a secondary battery and second battery is provided. The top cap assembly may comprise: a top cap plate comprising an electrode extraction hole; an electrode terminal comprising a terminal plate, the terminal plate may be located on a side of the top cap plate and cover the electrode extraction hole; a first fixing component, the first fixing component may at least partially surround the terminal plate to fix the electrode terminal to the first fixing component; and a second fixing component comprising a main body and a first connection portion connected to the main body and extends away from the terminal plate, the main body may be fixedly connected to the first fixing component, and the first connection portion may be fixedly connected to the top cap plate.

The electrode tab has a stacked multi-layer structure, the electrode tab protrudes from a portion of an end surface of the electrode assembly body in a longitudinal direction at a side of a split of the electrode assembly body perpendicular to the width direction, and the electrode tab is bent with respect to a longitudinal direction and is connected to the first connecting plate.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a component for collecting a current and a battery. The component for collecting a current comprises an introducing body and a connection body bendably arranged relative to the introducing body. The introducing body comprises a holding arrangement. The holding arrangement is used for fixing the introducing body when the connection body is bent. When the connection body is bent, an operator can use a clamping tool to fixedly clamp the holding arrangement arranged on the introducing body, so that the stress applied on the component for collecting a current can be transferred to the position of the clamping tool when the connection body is bent, thereby reducing the stress from damaging electrode assemblies.

The electrode member includes an electrode body and a conduction structure, the electrode body comprises an insulation substrate and an conduction layer placed on a surface of the insulation substrate, the conduction layer includes a first portion and a second portion extending from the first portion, the first portion is coated with an active material while the second portion is not coated with the active material, and the conduction structure is connected to the second portion. After the electrode assembly is formed by winding or stacking of the electrode members, adjacent current guide portions are electrically connected to one another by the conduction structure, without being limited by the insulation substrate, so that the conductivity of the electrode member is effectively improved.

The abutment member extends along a Y axis and abuts between the connecting portion and the top cap piece so that a minimum distance between the connecting portion and the top cap piece along the Z axis is G3, where G3>0. G3 may be greater than a minimum distance between the connecting portion and the top cap piece when the lower insulation member is fixed without the abutment member.

A first insulating adhesive is adhered on weld zones which are formed during welding of the first connecting portion and the first connecting piece and face the main body of the electrode assembly.

When one mono-battery is involved in a safety problem and leaks, other mono-batteries are not affected due to the isolation of the separating body potted among the adjacent mono-batteries, so as to improve the safety performance of the battery module. In addition, the battery module has the advantages of simple structure, small size, and low cost.
