  • Publication number: 20120176166
Abstract: A driver circuit drives a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller. The driver circuit includes an enabling circuit, a power supply input control circuit, a stabilizing circuit, and a discharge circuit. The stabilizing circuit is electrically connected to the PWM controller. The power supply input control circuit is electrically connected between the enabling circuit and the stabilizing circuit. The discharge circuit is electrically connected between the stabilizing circuit and the ground. In response to the driver circuit working in normal operation, the enabling circuit enables the power supply input control circuit to output a working voltage to the stabilizing circuit, and in response to the process of the driver circuit restarting, the enabling circuit enables the power supply input to stop outputting power supply to the stabilizing circuit. The discharge circuit leads a residual voltage of the stabilizing circuit to the ground, during the process of the driver circuit being restarted.

  • Publication number: 20120161781
Abstract: A measurement circuit includes a switch unit with a number of keys selectively pressed to output different resistance regulating signals. A resistance setting circuit receives the resistance regulating signals and connects different resistances to a voltage circuit and a current circuit. The voltage circuit outputs different voltages. The current voltage receives a voltage from the voltage circuit and outputs a current to a capacitor. A detecting circuit measures a temperature of the capacitor and outputs the temperature to the resistance setting circuit. The resistance setting circuit compares the received temperature with a preset temperature. If the received temperature is equal to or greater than the preset temperature, the resistance setting circuit outputs short-circuit information of the capacitor. If the received temperature is less than the preset temperature, the resistance setting circuit outputs normal information of the capacitor. A display unit displays the information of the capacitor.

  • Patent number: 8188032
Abstract: A polypeptide comprising a G-CSF domain operably linked to a Tf domain, wherein the ability of the polypeptide to be transported into a cell expressing a TfR gene or the ability of the polypeptide to be transported across a cell expressing a TfR gene via transcytosis is higher than that of the G-CSF domain alone.

  • Publication number: 20120041294
Abstract: In vivo multi-channel recording is a powerful tool in exploring the real time neural activity associated with specific behavioral outputs. A prominent strength of this technique is that a large number of neurons can be, in theory, simultaneously recorded such that the activity of a small neural circuitry can be formulated and assessed. The present application provides for a new, adjustable multi-electrode system (AMES). Electrodes in this AMES, once installed into the brain, can be individually adjusted such that each electrode can be independently protruded until it reaches an optimal position to acquire neuronal signals. Thus, every electrode within the multi-electrode system is able to acquire valid signals. This adjustable multi-electrode system substantially improves the efficacy of signal acquisition and offers an unprecedented power for in vivo recordings.

  • Publication number: 20090277625
Abstract: Described herein are compositions for reducing or preventing the degradation of equipment and articles exposed to hydrogen sulfide present in high concentrations in subterranean environments (e.g., oil and gas wells). The compositions are composed of a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin, or a combination thereof, and at least one compound that interacts with hydrogen sulfide from the subterranean environment. In certain aspects, the compositions are coated on the article of interest. In other aspects, the composition is used to manufacture the article and, thus, is integrated throughout the article.

  • Patent number: 4609568
Abstract: A process for fabricating self-aligned regions of metal silicide on bipolar integrated circuits having self-aligned polycrystalline silicon emitters and base contacts includes the steps of depositing a layer of polycrystalline silicon across the surface of the structure, patterning the polycrystalline silicon to define the emitters and base contacts as well as resistors and diodes, heating the structure to transfer desired conductivity dopants from the polycrystalline silicon into the underlying structure, forming a protective layer over those regions of the structure where metal silicide is not desired, depositing a layer of refractory metal across the entire structure, and reacting the refractory metal with the underlying silicon to form metal silicide.
