  • Publication number: 20060292733
Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method of a CMOS image sensor. The method includes forming an interlayer insulating layer, a color filter layer, and a planarizing layer. A first photoresist is applied on the planarizing layer, and patterning of the first photoresist is performed using a first mask to form a microlens pattern corresponding to photodiodes on a semiconductor substrate. The microlens pattern is reflowed to form dome-shaped microlenses. A second photoresist is applied on the resulting substrate, and patterning of the second photoresist is preformed using a second mask to retain the second photoresist on top portions of the microlenses. Edge portions of the microlenses are selectively removed using the patterned second photoresist as a mask to make CD (critical dimension) spaces between the microlenses uniform.

  • Publication number: 20060176782
Abstract: A method and apparatus for recording or reproducing broadcast programs according to maximum content rating set in a recording/reproducing apparatus is disclosed. When recording a broadcast program on a recording medium, the recording/reproducing apparatus optionally records the ID thereof and optionally the maximum content rating set therein on the recording medium together with the program. When reproducing a program recorded on a recording medium, the recording/reproducing apparatus determines whether to reproduce a program based on whether a reference content rating is higher than the content rating of the program.

  • Patent number: 7026422
Abstract: A hydrolytic condensation coating composition includes a silane, an epoxy resin, a hydrolytic condensation catalyst, and a solvent. The weight ratio of the epoxy resin to the silane is 1:0.4˜6. The silane is reactable with the epoxy resin, and is hydrolyzable in the presence of the hydrolytic condensation catalyst to form a three-dimensional stereo-network structure. A hard coat film obtained by coating a plastic substrate with the coating composition, followed by thermo-curing, exhibits high transparency and hardness, and has excellent anti-scratch and chemical-resistant properties. The hard coat film is suitable for use as a surface protective film for displays, polarizers, touch panels, ITO conductive films, other optical elements, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20050280932
Abstract: A hard disk drive with a post that extends from a base of a base plate. The base has a slot adjacent to the post. The slot attenuates a shock wave that propagates through the base plate of the drive.

  • Publication number: 20040100725
Abstract: A spacer assembly for a spindle motor of a hard disk drive. The spacer assembly separates a first disk from a second disk of the disk drive. The spacer assembly includes a first layer of damping material located between a washer and a spacer. The first layer of damping material damps vibration that is transmitted through the spacer assembly and into the disk. Damping vibration reduces track mis-registration in the disk drive due to mechanical vibration.

  • Publication number: 20040038280
Abstract: Large circular (LC)-sense molecules in an array is disclosed. The LC-sense molecules array is combined with cDNA hybridization to detect differences in expression profile between different cells. LC-sense molecules were purified from nonredundant clones with recombinant phagemid and arrayed onto silanized slide glasses. By hybridization of LC-sense array with Cy3 or Cy5-labelled cDNA preparations at 60° C., 29 up-regulated and 6 down-regulated genes in cancerous liver tissue were detected.

  • Publication number: 20030165892
Abstract: The present invention provides a high throughput system for functional genomics using a unigene antisense library comprising LC-antisense compounds. The antisense compounds were specific and effective for the elimination of target mRNA. Thus, the system of the present invention is used as temporary knock-down system to unveil functions of genes critical for diseases. The system of the present invention can be adopted not only for functional genomics but also for effectively validating target for antisense or other molecular therapeutics against various malignancies, infections, and other diseases by blocking specific genes involved in the disease.
