  • Publication number: 20120243952
Abstract: An on-line vibration detected and intelligent control apparatus for cutting process which integrated with machine tool's I/O module and a method thereof are disclosed, which can detect vibration of the machine tool during a machining process and calculate a gain, which can be a plus value or a minus value, according to the detected vibration signal. By adding the gain to the current spindle speed or the current feed rate of the machining process, an updated spindle speed or an updated feed rate is obtained so as to be used in the machining process for compensating and thus preventing the vibration of the machine tool during the machining process.

  • Publication number: 20120162386
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for correcting an error in a stereoscopic image. The apparatus includes two cameras, a region extraction unit, a phase difference calculation unit, an error value extraction unit, and an error analysis unit. The cameras capture left and right images forming the stereoscopic image. The region extraction unit extracts the main regions of interest from each of the images. The phase difference calculation unit calculates the difference in phase between the main regions of interest of the left image and the main regions of interest of the right image. The error value extraction unit extracts the value of a camera disposition error, corresponding to locations of the two cameras, based on the difference in phase. The error analysis unit determines whether the value of the camera disposition error is within a set range, and corrects the error in the stereoscopic image.

  • Publication number: 20090154834
Abstract: The rendering system for rendering input image data to composite an image includes an image input unit, an image rendering unit, an image compositing unit. The image input unit subdivides input image data into data segments of a size corresponding to the memory capacity of the rendering system to load the data segments one at a time. The image rendering unit renders the data segments in sequence, and sequentially stores rendering pixel information associated with the rendered results in a buffer. The image compositing unit compares two pieces of stored rendering pixel information to each other as previous rendering pixel information and current rendering pixel information, updates rendering pixel information according to the comparison result, and composites a final image according to the updated rendering pixel information.
