Abstract: The method for producing a transparent conductive substrate includes forming metal meshes on a flexible non-conductive substrate with high transmittance. It's unnecessary to use palladium as a catalyst in this method. The metal meshes are in the form of nano/micro wires and the conductive substrate has high transmittance of 80%-90% at visible light wavelengths of 390-750 nm.

Abstract: The present invention provides compositions and methods for delivery of therapeutic agents across an barrier. The compositions include a therapeutic agent (e.g., antimicrobial agent, antibiotic, or anesthetic agent), a permeation enhancer which increases the flux of the therapeutic agent across the barrier, and a matrix forming agent. The matrix forming agent forms a gel at a suitable gelation temperature and rheological properties for use in drug delivery, and in some cases, the gelation temperature and rheological properties are not significantly changed from those of the composition without the permeation enhancer. The invention also provides a matrix forming agent and compositions thereof. Such compositions are particularly useful in the treatment of otitis media. Methods of treatment, methods of delivery, and kits for the compositions described herein are also provided.

Abstract: A method of verifying an integrated circuit stack includes adding a dummy layer to a contact pad of a functional circuit, wherein a location of the dummy layer is determined based on a location of a contact pad of a connecting substrate. The method further includes converting the dummy layer location to the connecting substrate. The method further includes determining whether the dummy layer is aligned with the contact pad of the connecting substrate. The method further includes adjusting the dummy layer location in the functional circuit when the dummy layer location is misaligned with the contact pad of the connecting substrate.

For each snapshot, the service provider may determine if the user has rights to the snapshot, for example by checking a manifest for the snapshot to see if entries in the snapshot manifest belong to an account other than the customer's. If the user has rights to the snapshot, the request is granted; otherwise, the request is not granted.

The kitchen and the bathroom are arranged adjacent to each other on the chassis, and the living room and the bedroom are contractible and disposed on both sides of the chassis, respectively.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments disclose techniques for managing consistency for a file in a distributed filesystem. Two or more cloud controllers collectively manage distributed filesystem data that is stored in the cloud storage systems; the cloud controllers ensure data consistency for the stored data, and each cloud controller caches portions of the distributed filesystem. During operation, a cloud controller receives from a client a request to access the file. The cloud controller determines a level of consistency that is associated with the file, and then uses this level of consistency to determine whether to communicate with a peer cloud controller when handling the request.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer-accessible storage media for remotely managing a gateway that serves as an interface between processes on a customer network and a service provider, for example to store data to a remote data store. The gateway sends a connection request to a gateway control server. The server holds the connection until the server receives information (e.g., information from the customer sent via the service provider) for the gateway. The server sends the information as requests via the gateway-initiated connection, and continues to hold the connection. If a server receives information for a gateway to which it does not hold a connection, the server sends the information to the server that does hold the connection. The server may either discover the appropriate server via a registration service that registers connections to gateways or broadcast the information to peer servers identified through a registration service.

Abstract: A synthetic peptide that targets cancer stem cells is provided. The peptide consists of the amino acid sequence of anyone of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 15. Also provided is a composition comprising said synthetic peptide with a therapeutic agent fused thereto, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. Further provided is a method of screening a peptide specifically targeting to a cancer stem cell. The method comprises the steps of establishing an oligopeptide library by using a phage expression system, contacting the library with a culture of bulk tumor cells of a cancer cell line, contacting the phages which do not bind to the bulk tumor cells with a culture of cancer stem cells of said cancer cell line, and screening a peptide specifically targeting to a cancer stem cell from the phages which bind to the cancer stem cells.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for supporting namespaces in a multitenant application server environment. The application server environment can include a domain with a plurality of partitions. A global namespace or JNDI tree bound to domain-level resources can maintain a collection of partition root nodes, with each partition root node being the root node of a partition JNDI tree. Each node in a partition JNDI tree is made partition-aware by including properties specific to a particular partition. An initial context for a partition can be created for use in dispatching resource lookup requests to the partition, and can be reused by other applications in accessing resources in the partition.
