  • Publication number: 20070190395
Abstract: Disclosed is a separator plate for a molten carbonate fuel cell, which functions to reform a fuel gas while allowing it to efficiently flow therein and thereout, thus producing hydrogen and carbon dioxide, which are then supplied into an anode, and which functions to realize the electrical connection between the anode and the cathode. In the center plate, having a central portion and peripheral portions of the separator plate, the central portion has gas flow paths, that is, guide protrusions and guide grooves, and the peripheral portions are formed into sidewall parts through a folding process, and thus the number of constituents of the separator plate is minimized, thereby reducing the area to be welded. Further, the sidewall parts are integrally structured with the center plate, thereby increasing airtightness and solving problems of corrosion which may be caused in the welded area.

  • Publication number: 20060160558
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing power consumption of a mobile station (MS) in a wireless communication system. If a period of time for state transition from a normal mode to a sleep mode or an idle mode expires, the MS transmits a request message for state transition to a corresponding operation mode to a base station (BS) with which the MS is currently communicating. Upon receiving a response message to the request message, the MS performs a state transition to the sleep mode or the idle mode. Upon detecting a change in service area in the sleep mode, the MS performs a state transition to the normal mode. Upon receiving a paging advertisement message from a corresponding BS in the idle mode, the MS performs a state transition to the normal mode.

  • Publication number: 20060009267
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for transmitting/receiving a traffic indication message in a wireless communication system. In the wireless communication system, a base station (BS) groups a plurality of sleep mode IDs, and broadcasts a traffic indication message that includes first bitmap information indicating whether traffic corresponding to respective the sleep mode ID groups exists as well as second bitmap information indicating whether traffic indicators with respect to the respective sleep mode IDs that belong to the sleep mode ID groups exists. A mobile subscriber station (MS) which is allocated with any one of the plurality of sleep mode IDs, determines whether the traffic occurs in the sleep mode ID group to which the MS itself belongs using the first bitmap information if the MS receives the traffic indication message, and checks the traffic indicator of the terminal itself using the second bitmap information if the traffic occurs in the sleep mode ID group to which the MS belongs.

  • Publication number: 20050265390
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting and receiving MAC PDUs in a broadband wireless communication system. A transmitter generates a MAC PDU and determines if an empty area exists in the PDU. If the empty area exists, the transmitter determines if there exists a complete SDU for transmission having a size that is less than or equal to the size of the empty area. If the complete SDU exists, the transmitter adds into the PDU as a last payload piece the SDU without a subheader, and sets a GMH of the PDU to indicate that a No Overhead Last complete SDU (NOLS) exists, and transmits the PDU. A receiver analyzes a GMH of a received MAC PDU and determines if an NOLS exists in the PDU. If the NOLS exists, the receiver sequentially monitors the PSHs in the PDU to detect the last PSH, and separates an SDU corresponding to the NOLS from the PDU with reference to the last PSH.
