  • Publication number: 20240077534
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for pre-setting scan flip-flops using combinational logic circuits. A system includes a plurality of flip-flop devices and a first pre-setting combinational logic circuit. The plurality of flip-flop devices are coupled together in series and configured to receive a scan input signal, capture data output from each flip-flop device of the plurality of flip-flop devices based on the scan input signal, and generate a scan output signal comprising the captured data. The first pre-setting combinational logic circuit is coupled to a first flip-flop device of the plurality of flip-flop devices. The first pre-setting combinational logic circuit includes a plurality of transistors and is configured to override and set either the scan input signal to the first flip-flop device or the scan output signal of the first flip-flop device based on selective operation of the plurality of transistors.

  • Patent number: 9504891
Abstract: The present invention proposes a baseball bat, which comprises a hollow handle region extending along an axis and including a connection section; and a barrel region extending along the axis and connected with the connection section. The barrel region has thermoset resin layers and at least one flexible chain polymer layer, which exists within the thermoset resin layers, so that the barrel region does not harden after shape forming. The barrel region of the baseball bat can absorb vibration during batting and improve the stability of the batted ball.

  • Publication number: 20110237345
Abstract: A direction change structure of golf club head includes a ferrule that is fit to a body of a club head for coupling a shaft of a golf club. The ferrule includes an eccentric feature and has a separation preventing threaded member embedded therein. The body of the club head has a sole in which a recessed cavity is formed to correspond to the joint portion. A fastening threaded member is fit with a washer and is inserted through the recessed cavity to threadingly engage the separation preventing threaded member for fixing the ferrule. As such, with the fastening threaded member loosened, the ferrule is rotatable to realize direction change in order to enhance ball hitting performance.

  • Publication number: 20100099512
Abstract: Disclosed is a shank of a four-piece forging of golf club head. Atop piece of the four-piece forging of club head forms, at a portion thereof adjacent to the shank, a two-staged structure of an outward flaring sector-shaped connection portion that is combined with the shank, whereby an abutting condition exhibiting a smooth surface is formed at a jointing site between the shank and the club head in the course of performing welding operation between the shank and the club head for reducing the amount of filling material used in carrying out the welding operation and making the welding operation, as well as the subsequent grinding operation, easier and smoother. Thus, with the quality improved, the flexibility of design can also be enhanced to reduce the machining time and the manufacturing costs.

  • Publication number: 20100029418
Abstract: The method first provides a tubular outer member, a tubular inner member, and a head cap. Then, the inner member is threaded into the outer member and sealed inside by the head cap. The assembly is then placed in a mold, heated, and pressurized into a baseball bat. Due to its dual-layered structure, the baseball bat is capable of delivering superior performance and shock absorption. A material different from that of the outer and inner members could be further stuffed between the outer and inner members.

  • Patent number: 7654913
Abstract: A golf club head is formed with openings respectively on top and bottom sides thereof and a circumferential recessed groove is formed in the club head along a circumference of each opening. Pegs are formed in and spaced along the circumferential grooves. A faceplate and a bottom plate are provided, each having a circumferential edge along which notches are formed in a spaced manner to correspond to the pegs. Thus, when the faceplate and the bottom plate are received in the top and bottom openings respectively to be supported by the circumferential grooves, the notches respectively snugly fit over the pegs to thereby securely and properly hold the faceplate and the bottom plate in position for subsequently welding operation. Thus, the subsequent welding operation can be carried out in a smooth manner without any underside shifting of the faceplate and bottom plate with respect to the club head.

  • Publication number: 20090270199
Abstract: A golf club head has a three-piece construction, including a front piece, an intermediate piece and a rear piece. The front and rear pieces are made of metal, while the intermediate piece is made of fiber-reinforced plastic, composite material or metal. The intermediate piece is jointed to the front and rear pieces by means of adhesives or welding. Bolts are provided in a lower portion of the rear piece to threadingly engage the front piece to securely fix all the pieces together to form the golf club head, which has a lowered gravity center and enhanced striking stability.

  • Publication number: 20090174114
Abstract: First, fibers of a single material or of mixed materials are knitted or woven into a single-layer fiber tube. Then, two or more fiber tubes thus formed are threaded layer-by-layer over a mandrel and the two ends of the fiber tubes are fastened. The assembly is then submerged in a vacuumed or pressurized tank of uncured resins, so that the resins could permeate evenly into the fiber tubes. The assembly is then thermally cured and the cured fiber tubes are removed from the mandrel. The fiber tubes are then placed in a mold and molded together with a knob and a cap at its both ends to make a composite baseball bat.

  • Publication number: 20090029794
Abstract: A golf club head includes a head body having a grounding face. The grounding face has a front portion and a rear portion. The rear portion of the grounding face is formed with a recessed portion. The recessed portion is provided with at least one protruding boss. Thus, the contact area between the grounding face of the head body and the ground is reduced largely by provision of the recessed portion to reduce the friction and resistance of the grounding face of the head body and to increase the striking force of the head body so as to increase the travel distance of the golf ball and to increase the striking effect of the head body.

  • Publication number: 20080242441
Abstract: A golf club head includes a hitting face and a changeable zone formed on a surface of the hitting face and having a physical feature different from that of the hitting face. Thus, all part or partial of the changeable zone of the hitting face has a hardness different from that of the hitting face, so that when the changeable zone is harder than the hitting face, the golf club head provides a greater hitting force on the golf ball due to the greater hardness of the changeable zone to increase the travel distance of the golf ball, and when the changeable zone is softer than the hitting face, the travel direction of the golf ball is controlled by the golf club head to facilitate a user controlling the travel direction the golf ball.

  • Publication number: 20070087872
Abstract: A bat includes a hollow handle, a head portion mounted on a first end of the handle, a tail portion mounted on a second end of the handle, and an elastic plate mounted in an inside of the handle. Thus, when the handle hits a ball, the elastic plate is deformed by the impact force applied by the ball, so that the elastic plate produces a reaction bouncing force to the handle to maintain the stiffness and strength of the handle and to enhance the hitting force of the handle so as to strike the ball exactly, thereby enhancing the striking effect of the handle efficiently.
