Each first resource pool configuration includes a partial sensing indication of whether to perform partial sensing on a corresponding sidelink transmission resource pool in a Sidelink Discontinuous Reception (SL-DRX) inactive time. The SL-DRX inactive time is determined based on a set of SL-DRX configurations stored in the UE. In the method, the partial sensing is performed, based on the partial sensing indication of each first resource pool configuration, on the corresponding sidelink transmission resource pool while the UE is implementing sidelink packet transmission.
