  • Patent number: 10621395
Abstract: In a configuration for detection of a movement state of a radio tag using a phase difference of a response wave from the radio tag, a phase ?[i] and a measurement time t[i] of a response wave from a radio tag measured are sequentially stored in a memory. A difference from a previous phase and a difference from a previous measurement time with respect to each phase ?[i] stored in the memory are calculated as a phase difference ??[i] and a time difference ?t[i]. A phase addition value ?sum[i] obtained by cumulatively adding a plurality of the phase differences ??[i] is calculated so as to correct a phase difference in which the corresponding time difference ?t[i] among the calculated plurality of the phase differences ??[i] exceeds a time threshold tsa [i], whereby the movement state of the radio tag is detected based upon the calculated phase addition value ?sum[i].

  • Publication number: 20190303631
Abstract: A configuration which can easily discriminate a moving wireless (radio) tag from a stationary wireless (radio) tag. The configuration uses an antenna to measure phases of response waves received from a wireless tag. Based on the measurements, the configuration measures changes in distance from the wireless tag to the antenna and detects travel of the wireless tag. Based on the measurements, the configuration measures changes in velocity of the wireless tag relative to the antenna. A wireless tag having a rate of changes in signs of the velocity, of not less than a predetermined value in the measured velocity changes, is detected as being a stationary tag.

  • Patent number: 9826620
Abstract: A high frequency generating device used in a plasma ignition apparatus according to an embodiment includes a high frequency output unit, an output control unit, a current detecting unit, and an abnormality detecting unit. The high frequency output unit outputs a high frequency. The output control unit shifts a state of the high frequency output unit from a non-output state to an output-ready state of the high frequency. The current detecting unit detects a current that flows through a power-supply path to the high frequency output unit. The abnormality detecting unit detects output abnormality of the high frequency in the non-output state when a value of a current detected by the current detecting unit in the non-output state exceeds a non-output threshold.

  • Publication number: 20170058856
Abstract: A high frequency generating device used in a plasma ignition apparatus according to embodiments includes an output unit and a control unit. The output unit outputs a high frequency to an antenna that irradiates the high frequency into a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine. The control unit instructs the output unit to output the high frequency on the basis of an ignition signal that controls a spark discharge by an ignition plug and a control signal that controls output of the high frequency. Moreover, the control unit determines, when one of the ignition signal and the control signal is input, whether or not the other signal is input within a predetermined detection period, and detects abnormality in an input path of the ignition signal or in an input path of the control signal when the other signal is not input within the predetermined detection period.

  • Publication number: 20160282549
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device (10) is provided with: an LED (24); a rectangular optical sheet (18) for imparting an optical action to light from the LED (24); a rectangular liquid crystal panel (11) disposed so as to be layered on the optical sheet (18); and a frame (15) constituting a frame shape, disposed so as to enclose the optical sheet (18), and sandwiching both edges on the long side of the optical sheet (18) between the liquid crystal panel (11) and itself while selectively pressing portions of the optical sheet (18) that are closer toward the center than the two end sides of the edges. Because the two edges on the long side of the optical sheet (18) are selectively sandwiched to hold the optical sheet (18) in place, displacement of the optical sheet (18) can be prevented or minimized. A deflection occurring in the optical sheet (18) can be relieved in a portion of the optical sheet (18) which is not sandwiched nor held in place, i.e., the portions on the two end sides of the edges.
