  • Patent number: 6332355
Abstract: An injection unit including a heating barrel and an injection screw rotationally and axially movable and placed in the heating barrel is disposed on one side of a clamping mechanism for clamping a mold. The injection screw is driven and controlled for operation through a ball screw by an electric motor. Products, each of a moving speed of the ball screw and an operating current supplied to the electric motor in a unit time, are accumulated to calculate a total energy value indicating the amount of total energy supplied to the ball screw. A life energy value is predetermined on the basis of products, each of force generated by the ball screw and a moving speed of the ball screw. It is decided that a life of the ball screw has terminated when the total energy value A is equal to or greater than the life energy B (A≧B).

  • Patent number: 6329893
Abstract: A buckle is provided with a non-contact buckle switch to find an engagement condition with a tongue. When a lock member of the buckle is disposed in a locking position, a magnetic field produced by a magnet and applied to an IC Hall element differs from a case where the lock member is disposed in a non-locking position. The difference of the magnetic field is caused by the magnetic lock member moved close to the magnet and the IC Hall element, whereby an electrical current outputted by the electromotive force of the IC Hall element is changed. Thus, it is possible to determine that the lock pin is set in the locking position. The buckle switch is improved in durability and can operate more reliably.

  • Patent number: 6325954
Abstract: An injection speed control procedure is applied to controlling an injection screw included in an electric injection molding machine and driven by an electric motor. An injection process is divided into a plurality of injection stages. Injection speed at which the injection screw is moved is changed at a time point when a value PS obtained by integrating injection pressure with respect to the position of the injection screw or a value PT obtained by integrating injection pressure with respect to injection time coincides with a predetermined reference value determined for each injection stage.

  • Patent number: 6035500
Abstract: A buckle is formed of a base, a latch member supported by side walls of the base so that the latch member can pivot between its non-engaged position and its engaged position, an operational member manipulated to cancel an engagement between the tongue and the latch member; and a lock member. The latch member is biased to the engaged position, and pivots to the engaged position when a tongue is inserted into a predetermined position to engage the tongue. The lock member holds the latch member to the engaged position when the tongue and the latch member are engaged, and is able to be moved by the operational member to a position capable of canceling the engagement between the tongue and the latch member. The lock member is arranged to move only in the longitudinal direction of the buckle. Thus, the movement of the lock member is simplified to improve controlling ability of the latch member.

  • Patent number: 5974638
Abstract: In a buckle of the present invention, inertia force F.sub.1 acts in a direction opposite to a direction toward a disengaging position of a main body 4d of a lock member when the buckle is pulled by a pretensioner. Clockwise torque T.sub.1 is developed on a lever 12b and counter-clockwise torque T.sub.2 is developed on a mass body 12c. Since the torque T.sub.2 of the mass body 12c is larger generally, the lever 12b and the mass body 12c rotate together in the counter-clockwise direction so that the lever is set in the restricting position. At the bottoming of the pulling action of the buckle, the inertia force F.sub.2 acts in a direction toward the disengaging position of the main body 4d. Therefore, the mass body 12c rotates in the clockwise direction and the lever 12b is held in the restricting position so that the movement of the lock member in the direction toward the disengaging position of the main body 4d is prevented.
