    Abstract: Systems and methods for beamforming include a device including at least one of a head wearable display (HWD) or a console. The device establishes a first connection between an active HWD radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) and an active console RFIC. The device compares a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the first connection to an MCS threshold. The device performs MCS measurements for a second connection of at least one of an idle HWD RFIC or an idle console RFIC, while the first connection is maintained, in response to the MCS not satisfying the MCS threshold. The device compares the MCS measurements of the second connection to the MCS threshold. The device switches to the second connection when at least one of the one or more MCS measurements satisfies the MCS threshold and/or above the MCS of the first connection.

    Abstract: A system for providing a persona-driven and artificially-intelligent avatar is disclosed. The avatar may be utilized to represent an artificially-intelligent virtual assistant that may perform actions on behalf of a user, such as actions related to personal shopping for the user. Notably, the avatar may influence artificial intelligence algorithms supporting the functionality of the virtual assistant via quantifiable traits of a persona of the avatar. In particular, the quantifiable traits of the persona of the avatar may be utilized to range bound the controlling parameters of the algorithms such that the virtual assistant represented by the avatar performs actions that conform to the ranged-bounded controlling parameters. Metrics corresponding to the performance of the virtual assistant may be tracked, and the system may modify parameters of the virtual assistant based on the metrics so as to adjust future actions performed by the virtual assistant for the user.

The method is performed at a network apparatus and includes: detecting a breakage of a label distribution protocol, LDP, session between the network apparatus and a first downstream network apparatus in which the first downstream network apparatus is in a first label switched path, LSP, from the network apparatus to a destination network apparatus; calculating a second LSP from the network apparatus to the destination network apparatus, by using a constrained shortest path first, CSPF, algorithm; and replacing the first LSP with the second LSP. A LSP broke broken due to a breakage of a LDP session may be reestablished easier and quicker using the arrangements described herein.
