  • Publication number: 20220149448
Abstract: A shareable battery pack for a portable ultrasonic apparatus, a trolley, a power supply system, and a portable ultrasonic system. The trolley can be connected to the portable ultrasonic apparatus and/or the shareable battery pack to supply power so as to extend operation time. Alternatively, the trolley is used to support the portable ultrasonic apparatus and/or the shareable battery pack without supplying power to extend operation time. In an embodiment, the shareable battery pack can be removed from the trolley, and then be fixedly connected to the portable ultrasonic apparatus to form an integral unit and serve as an external battery for the portable ultrasonic apparatus. Such design enables the portable ultrasonic apparatus to have extended operation time without relying on the trolley and requires only one shareable battery pack in special situations, thereby enhancing convenience of use.

  • Publication number: 20220141513
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives session features for a session associated with a request for a video from a client and predicts network conditions for the session using the session features. A subset of available profiles is selected based on the network conditions. The available profiles are associated with a different playback characteristic. The method provides a profile ladder that includes the subset of available profiles for the playback of the video to the client. The profile ladder restricts the client to using the subset of available profiles to request segments of the video during the session.

  • Patent number: 11316610
Abstract: Systems and methods for beamforming include a device including at least one of a head wearable display (HWD) or a console. The device establishes a first connection between an active HWD radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) and an active console RFIC. The device compares a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the first connection to an MCS threshold. The device performs MCS measurements for a second connection of at least one of an idle HWD RFIC or an idle console RFIC, while the first connection is maintained, in response to the MCS not satisfying the MCS threshold. The device compares the MCS measurements of the second connection to the MCS threshold. The device switches to the second connection when at least one of the one or more MCS measurements satisfies the MCS threshold and/or above the MCS of the first connection.

  • Publication number: 20220101069
Abstract: Different automatic tasks are facilitated via outlier detection in datasets using a Weighted Histogram-based Outlier Scoring (W-HBOS). An initial set of features is extracted from a processed dataset. The initial set of features is further filtered by applying robust statistics for size reduction. A second round of automatic feature selection is implemented based on maximum-entropy estimation so that a selected set of features that can give maximum possible information from different dimensions towards detecting anomalies are selected. The selected set of features are transformed to generate principal components that are provided to the W-HBOS-based model for outlier detection. A subset of outliers in one of the directions can be selected and reason codes are identified using back transformation for the execution of a desired automatic task.
