Abstract: A sealing construction for an electrical connection box, in which a waterproof cover is mounted on a main body, including a packing which is fitted into a packing groove of the waterproof cover so as to be brought into pressing contact with a contact portion of the main body; the packing being formed by hardening liquid packing compound injected directly into the packing groove of the waterproof cover, and a method of forming the packing.

Abstract: An apparatus for laying a wire in a junction box comprises means for performing the steps of: setting (S1) a covered wire E on a wiring plate along a wiring pattern arranged on said wiring plate by causing a relative movement between a wire feeder which successively feeds a single wire and the wiring plate along guide means formed on the wiring plate; cutting off (S2) portions unnecessary for conductive circuits from the wiring set on the wiring plate; and forming (S3) the conductive circuits in the junction box by inserting the wire remaining on the wiring plate into the wire-coupling portions of connecting terminals secured to a base and by removing the junction box from the wiring plate. Thus, it is possible to speed up the wire-laying work in a junction box having many conductive circuits.

Abstract: A pair of connecting springs is formed in the vicinity of the upper and lower ends of surfaces of a relay terminal and are opposed to each other in such a manner that the connecting springs project inward in the configuration of a circular arc. A gap, through which tabs are inserted, is provided between each pair of the connecting springs.

Abstract: A connecting box for forming branch circuit comprises two rectangular casing members in the same configuration and a plurality of conductive members. Each casing member comprises a partitioning, a plurality of connector-connecting openings disposed on one side thereof with respect to the partitioning wall, a conductive member-accommodating portion disposed on the other side and a plurality of connection portion-inserting openings formed on the partitioning wall. The two casing members are connected with each other with one of the casing members to constitute a case having the conductive member-accommodating portion in the center portion thereof and the connector-connecting openings on the front and back sides. The conductive members are disposed in the conductive member-accommodating portion so as to project a connecting portion of each conductive member into each of the connector-connecting openings formed on the front and back sides of the case through each connection portion-inserting opening.
