  • Patent number: 12263965
Abstract: A frangible manifold is used in connection with flight termination operations and stage separation. The manifold has a first portion and a second portion separated by a frangible portion. An aperture extends through the first, second and third sections. A first ordnance termination line is positioned in at least the first section of the first portion of the manifold. A second ordnance termination line is positioned in at least the second section of the second portion of the manifold. In the event of a flight termination, detonation of one ordnance line causes detonation of the second ordnance line. In the event of stage separation, the manifold splits at the frangible portion and the two ordnance lines are safely separated.

  • Publication number: 20250090947
Abstract: The following embodiment describe various example techniques for attaching a mobile computing device to a game controller. Some of those techniques use a magnetic connector in the game controller, and various example magnet/magnetic array configurations are described. In one embodiment, a float mechanism is provided to allow the magnetic connector in the game controller to move via a magnetic force to align with a corresponding magnetic connector in a mobile computing device. Various float mechanisms are described including those that float a magnetic connector island, float magnet(s) in the magnetic connector island, and float the entire island/bridge assembly. Additionally, various example bridge extension mechanisms are described, as well as example solutions for addressing pinch points. Example connect/play techniques are provided, as well as example power management and power handling techniques and example hardware configurations.

  • Publication number: 20250090896
Abstract: A multifunctional exercise device enabling performance of a plurality of exercises includes a base, an upright support, a first rest, and a second rest. The base has upper and lower surfaces, front and rear ends, and opposed lateral edges, which extend between the front and rear ends. The upright support has lower and upper ends, with the lower end being attached to the upper surface proximate to the rear end and the upright support extending substantially vertically from the base. The first and second rests are removably couplable to the upper end of the upright support for performing pluralities of first and second exercises, respectively. The first and second rests are elongated and each has a longitudinal axis extending bilaterally and perpendicularly from the upright support in parallel with a vertical plane that bisects each of the opposed lateral edges. The second rest is rotatable about its longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20250065178
Abstract: An exercise device targeting anterior tibialis muscles which specifically targets anterior tibialis muscles includes weight engagement, sliding, and locking elements. The weight engagement element comprises a dorsum bar, which is attached to and which extends bidirectionally from a first end of a weight bar. The sliding element comprises a heel bar, which is attached to and which extends bidirectionally from a first terminus of an extension bar. A second terminus of the extension bar is slidable along and releasably securable to the weight bar so that the dorsum bar and the heel bar can be fit to feet of a user. The weight bar is insertable through the central hole of one or more weights so that the one or more weights abut the extension bar. The locking element is slidable along and releasably securable to the weight bar to retain the one or more weights in position.

  • Patent number: 12236822
Abstract: Dynamic refresh rate (DRR) switching is used to dynamically update a refresh rate of content presented on an interface. When a first application and a second application are presented on a user interface at a first refresh rate; a request may be received to temporarily boost the first refresh rate to a second, higher, refresh rate. DRR switching is initiated as the first refresh rate is temporarily boosted to a second refresh rate. Applications that are opted in to the second refresh rate receive signals to refresh content at the second refresh rate, while applications that are not opted in to the second refresh rate receive signals to refresh content at a virtualized refresh rate that matches the first refresh rate. Thus, the first application refreshes content at the first refresh rate and the second application refreshes content at the second, higher refresh rate, providing a smooth user experience without unnecessarily utilizing power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20250058213
Abstract: One challenge of designing a handheld game controller to accommodate thicker phones and phone cases is that it tends to make the handheld game controller thicker. A thicker handheld game controller increases weight, volume and material expense. In one embodiment, a handheld game controller is provided with an “overhang” that solves this problem by decoupling increased thickness of the phone from the requirement of increasing controller thickness. This allows for the benefits of broader phone and case support, while maintaining a more-comfortable posture.

  • Publication number: 20250041712
Abstract: A gaming system having a handheld controller, a bridge, and a contact zone. The bridge connects the first handle and the second handle of the handheld controller. The contact zone is on at least one of the handles and is configured to align and constrain a mobile device in a desired gameplay position that is between the handles. The contact zone has a cross-sectional profile that includes an arcuate section and a chamfered section. The arcuate section has a radius and a center of curvature that is between the first handle and the second handle. The chamfered section has two substantially flat segments meeting at an obtuse angle. At least one of the two substantially flat segments has a length that is not less than one-quarter of the radius of the arcuate section.

  • Patent number: 12124511
Abstract: Generally described, one or more aspects of the present application relate to data search system that can facilitate data searches such that the amount of computing resources such as processing power and bandwidth used to generate and output search results is reduced. For example, in response to a search request specifying a set of search criteria, the data search system may identify a combination of sub-criteria, access a pre-generated threshold corresponding to the combination of sub-criteria, determine a real-time index value corresponding to the combination of sub-criteria, identify a plurality of resources that satisfy the set of search criteria, and output a subset of the plurality of resources to the user computing device from which the search request was received.
