The method includes: providing a storage unit for storing a connection date when an exterior storage device is connected to a file processing device; retrieving a last connection date of the exterior storage device; selecting the exterior storage device for files or file folders whose date information is later than the last connection date; and copying and saving the selected files or file folder to the file processing device.

Abstract: A method used in a digital photo frame (DPF) with television function is provided. The DPF has a DPF mode for playing multimedia files stored in a storage and a television (TV) mode for playing TV programs received by a TV receiving module. The method includes: fetching TV program information from a TV program schedule when the DPF is in the DPF mode; detecting whether at least one TV program is airing soon or currently aired at the current time; displaying a TV listing menu prompt containing information on the at least one “airing soon” or “currently aired” TV program; receiving a mode switching signal and changing the operational mode of the DPF to the TV mode; and receiving and playing one of the “airing soon” or “currently aired” TV programs.

Abstract: A method with television (TV) tuning function applied on a digital photo frame (DPF) is provided. The method includes: fetching a prompt time of at least one particular TV program; determining whether a prompt time of a particular TV program is about to arrive or has already arrived at the current time; fetching a prompt signal of the particular TV program whose prompt time is about to arrive or has already arrived, and outputting the prompt signal to prompt a particular TV program is being aired or about to air; switching the DPF from the DPF mode to a TV mode and providing the channel parameter of the particular TV program upon receiving a mode switching signal during the outputting of the prompt signal; and; and receiving and playing the particular TV program according to the channel parameter. Abstract: A digital photo frame with a function of automatically power off is provided. The digital photo frame includes a display unit, a power management unit, a storage unit, a detection unit, and a processing unit. The detection unit detects whether there is some one around the digital photo frame. The processing unit controls the power management unit to stop providing power to the display unit if the detection unit detects nobody around the digital photo frame in a first predetermined time period, and controls the power management unit to stop providing power to the digital photo frame if the detection unit detects nobody around the digital photo frame in a second predetermined time period.

Abstract: A method for outputting multimedia files and broadcast contents of a selected television (TV) channels on the DPF in a picture-in-picture (PIP) output mode is provided. The method includes: starting the PIP output mode when the DPF plays multimedia files under a DPF mode; defining a PIP region on the DPF; receiving broadcasts of a selected TV channel; and outputting the multimedia files and the broadcast contents of the selected TV channel in the PIP output mode. A related DPF is also provided.

The seal impression generation unit generates a seal impression according to the control signal of the processor. After the seal impression is affixed on a paper document, the processor generates a log file in response to a log file generation request.

Thereby causing a color change of the position of the electronic paper device corresponding to the touch position.

The digital watermarking system mainly includes a storing unit, a background image obtaining module, a pixel determining module, an encrypting module, and a storing module. The storing unit is for storing text information, the text information including textual information and one or more background images. The background image obtaining module is for obtaining one background image to be watermarked from the storing unit. The background image includes plural pixels, and each of the pixels has a brightness value. The pixel determining module is for earmarking the pixel to be adjusted, an initial brightness value of the earmarked pixel being in a predetermined range. The encrypting module is for adjusting the brightness value of the earmarked pixel. The storing module is for storing watermarked text information in the storing unit. Related methods are provided.

The digital watermarking system mainly includes a storing unit (30), a text obtaining module (31), a dot matrix determining module (32), an encrypting module (33), and a storing module (34). The text obtaining module is for obtaining one dot matrix file to be watermarked from the storing unit. The dot matrix file includes plural dot matrixes, each of which has a matrix margin and includes plural pixels. The dot matrix determining module is for earmarking the dot matrix to be adjusted to obtain a watermark. The encrypting module is for adjusting the matrix margin of the earmarked dot matrix. The storing module is for storing watermarked text information in the storing unit. Related methods are provided.

Abstract: A computer executable program for managing medias is provided. The computer executable program includes a connection detecting module, a searching module, a removing module, and a downloading module. When the connection detecting module detects a communication connection between a portable electronic device and a computer is established, the searching module searches a first type of medias of the portable electronic device, and the removing module moves the first type of medias from the portable electronic device to the computer. The searching module also searches a second type of medias of the computer, the downloading module downloads the second type of medias from the computer to the portable electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for transmitting files between electronic devices. The method includes: supplying a computer for connecting at least one electronic device to the computer and connecting the computer to a server; controlling the electronic device to log on or off the server when the electronic device is connected with the computer; obtaining an identifier (ID) of a target electronic device, an ID of the electronic device, and information of files what are selected in the electronic device by a user; generating a request including the ID of the target electronic device, the ID of the electronic device, and the information of files that the user selects; and transmitting the request to the target electronic device if the target electronic device is logged on the server.

Abstract: A method for managing medias of an electronic device is provided. The method includes: detecting whether a communication connection between the electronic device and the computer is established; searching a first type of medias of electronic device if yes; moving the first type of medias from the electronic device to the computer; searching a second type of medias of the computer; and downloading the second type of medias from the computer to the electronic device. Abstract: An image adjusting method includes supplying an adjusting device connected with a display device; receiving an adjusting request including a source location, a target location and a revolution of the display device from the display device; obtaining the source location, the target location and the revolution of the display device from the adjusting request, and images from the source location; reducing the resolution of the obtained image according to the resolution of the display device when a revolution of the obtained image is not consistent with the revolution of the display device; and storing the adjusted desired image to the target location.
