Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for sending and receiving a reference signal set. The method includes: sending, by a network device, configuration information for a reference signal set; and sending, by the network device, the reference signal set based on the configuration information, where the reference signal set is associated with a PF, and in time domain, the reference signal set is after a synchronization signal burst set and before a first PO in the PF. Therefore, when a time gap between the synchronization signal burst set and a PO for a terminal device is relatively long, the terminal device may perform AGC tuning, time/frequency tracking, beam selection, and RRM measurement based on the reference signal set, to reduce wake-up times of the terminal device or reduce a wake-up duration of the terminal device, thereby reducing power consumption of the terminal device.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: determining, based on a receiving status of a first power saving signal, that a PDCCH is not detected within a first DRX cycle; and performing, in a first time period within the first DRX cycle, RRM measurement on a CSI-RS sent by a network device. This application can ensure sufficient RRM measurement opportunities for a terminal device, ensure accuracy of RRM measurement, and prevent introduction of a concept “power saving signal” from affecting mobility RRM measurement performed by the terminal.

Abstract: This application discloses a measurement method and apparatus, and a device. The method includes: the terminal device divides all neighbors detected on a same measurement frequency into at least two measurement groups, and performs RRM measurement separately on the at least two measurement groups based on an RRM measurement parameter corresponding to each measurement group, where the at least two measurement groups are in a one-to-one correspondence with at least two RRM measurement parameters, and the terminal device has different power consumption when performing RRM measurement on the at least two measurement groups based on the corresponding RRM measurement parameters.

Abstract: The technology of this application relates to communications systems. In one example, a network device sends a first message to a terminal device, where the first message includes configuration information of a reference signal resource. The network device sends a second message to the terminal device, where the second message includes a first bit field and/or a second bit field, the first bit field is used to indicate an availability status of the reference signal resource, and the second bit field is used to indicate that the terminal device uses a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel resource block signal resource and/or the reference signal resource.
