  • Patent number: 9552425
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for determining query aspects for appropriate categories is provided. In example embodiments, query data is collected. The query data indicates a query term and tracked user behavior associated with past queries involving the query term. An aspect demand ratio is calculated for each category of a category tree based on the collected query data. Using at least one processor, one or more lowest categories of the category tree that satisfies a category threshold is determined. The one or more lowest categories are then appended to the query term and stored in a database.

  • Patent number: 9298776
Abstract: In various example embodiments, systems and methods for providing category aspect information by mining historical data is provided. In example embodiments, historical data is compiled. The historical data comprises user behavior data based on actions performed with past queries by users. Listing data is accessed. The listing data includes aspect data for each listing. The historical data is then joined with the listing data and a determined category of the listing to create joined data. Demand scores based on the joined data are determined. The determined demand scores is then sorted to determine at least one relevant aspect name for a category.

  • Patent number: 9245695
Abstract: In an embodiment of the invention, an energy storage device is described including a pair of electrically conductive porous structures, with each of the electrically conductive porous structures containing an electrolyte loaded into a plurality of pores. A solid or semi-solid electrolyte layer separates the pair of electrically conductive porous structures and penetrates the plurality of pores of the pair of electrically conductive porous structures. In an embodiment of the invention, an electrically conductive porous structure is formed on a substrate, the electrically conductive porous structure containing a plurality of pores. An electrolyte is then loaded into the plurality of pores, and an electrolyte layer is formed over the electrically conductive porous structure. In an embodiment, the electrolyte layer penetrates the plurality of pores of the electrically conductive porous structure.

  • Publication number: 20150161635
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a pseudo product group for an item to be listed in an online marketplace having unstructured data is determined. Then, a fair market price for the item is determined using past data from listings in the pseudo product group. The fair market price may be used as a reference price in a curve of price elasticity versus price to obtain a price elasticity value. A price range may then be recommended to a user for the listing based upon the fair market price and the price elasticity value.
