    Abstract: A method for determining a regulation range of pumping power of a three-machine pumped storage unit is provided. The method includes: obtaining a first parameter set of pumping measurement parameters for characterizing the three-machine pumped storage unit and determining a pumping process efficiency; determining a first relational expression based on the pumping process efficiency and a design efficiency of a pumped storage power station and establishing a second relational expression; and determining a third relational expression based on power absorbed by a power grid and the second relational expression and determining a fourth relational expression, where the fourth relational expression reflects the regulation range of the pumping power of the three-machine pumped storage unit. The method for determining the regulation range of the pumping power of the three-machine pumped storage unit is proposed according to unit characteristics and operating economy of the power station.

The methods may include determining a spinlock relaxation rate for each RF offset for at least the first signal average so that the normalized spectrum for each RF offset and each slice first signal average corresponds to at least each transient state associated with each saturated slice readout normalized by at least each control state associated with each control slice readout based on the spinlock relaxation rate. The method may further include reconstructing CEST equilibrium effect for each RF offset using the respective spinlock relaxation rate for the RF offset. The method may include determining one or more quantitative information using the CEST equilibrium effect.

    Abstract: An efficient virus based wet biomass lipid extraction system is disclosed herein. The system includes a microalgal biomass which is inoculated with a matched algal virus. The biomass is then incubated under conditions resulting in the algal virus infecting the algae cells and proliferating to the point that the algae cells are disrupted. This releases lipids such that they may be collected by conventional techniques, including solvent extraction. In an exemplary embodiment, the microalgal biomass comprises Chlorella sp, and the virus was Chlorovirus Paramecium bursaria chlorella virus (PBCV-1).
