    Abstract: A style of a digital image is transferred to another digital image of arbitrary resolution. A high-resolution (HR) content image is segmented into several low-resolution (LR) patches. The resolution of a style image is matched to have the same resolution as the LR content image patches. Style transfer is then performed on a patch-by-patch basis using, for example, a pair of feature transforms—whitening and coloring. The patch-by-patch style transfer process is then repeated at several increasing resolutions, or scale levels, of both the content and style images. The results of the style transfer at each scale level are incorporated into successive scale levels up to and including the original HR scale. As a result, style transfer can be performed with images having arbitrary resolutions to produce visually pleasing results with good spatial consistency.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an automated image tagging system that can predict a set of tags, along with relevance scores, that can be used for keyword-based image retrieval, image tag proposal, and image tag auto-completion based on user input. Initially, during training, a clustering technique is utilized to reduce cluster imbalance in the data that is input into a convolutional neural network (CNN) for training feature data. In embodiments, the clustering technique can also be utilized to compute data point similarity that can be utilized for tag propagation (to tag untagged images). During testing, a diversity based voting framework is utilized to overcome user tagging biases. In some embodiments, bigram re-weighting can down-weight a keyword that is likely to be part of a bigram based on a predicted tag set.

    Abstract: Techniques for error detection involve injecting, to a switch of a storage system, information representing an error of at least one device to be tested of the system, such that the information representing the error is passed from an upstream port of the switch to a computing device connected with the switch, the switch being connected to the at least one device to be tested via a downstream port. The techniques further involve obtaining a handling result of the computing device on the information representing the error, and determining an error handling capability of the system at least partly by analyzing the handling result. Accordingly, slave storage devices of storage system nodes, connectors, the entire PCIe topology at the CPU level, and an NVMe bus can be tested, so that the entire logical path of the error handling can be tested, thereby improving performance and saving testing costs.

    Abstract: A method and a device for securing a cache against side channel attacks are provided. An allocator identifier ALLOCATOR field is added to each cache entry in the present disclosure. Whenever an entry is allocated in the cache, the identifier of the software domain currently running on the processor is filled into the ALLOCATOR field of the allocation entry. When accessing the cache, the cache entry can be hit only if the identifier of the software domain currently running on the processor is identical to the ALLOCATOR field in the cache entry. If the cache entry to be replaced is invalid or its ALLOCATOR field is identical to the identifier of the software domain currently running on the processor, then the existing entry in the cache is replaced directly; otherwise, the entire cache is emptied.

The dead neurons are converted to reborn neurons by adding the dead neurons to layers of the neural network having the survived neurons. The reborn neurons are prevented from connecting to the survived neurons for training the reborn neurons.

    Abstract: In implementations of transferring image style to content of a digital image, an image editing system includes an encoder that extracts features from a content image and features from a style image. A whitening and color transform generates coarse features from the content and style features extracted by the encoder for one pass of encoding and decoding. Hence, the processing delay and memory requirements are low. A feature transfer module iteratively transfers style features to the coarse feature map and generates a fine feature map. The image editing system fuses the fine features with the coarse features, and a decoder generates an output image with content of the content image in a style of the style image from the fused features. Accordingly, the image editing system efficiently transfers an image style to image content in real-time, without undesirable artifacts in the output image.

The diameter and spacing of fluorescent lines obtained by the method can be controlled and adjusted according to parameter conditions such as a needle aperture, a printing speed, and a preset pattern. The prepared transparent fluorescent film with directionally arranged quantum rods has a high degree of polarization, can be prepared on a flexible substrate in a normal temperature environment, and has wide applicability.
