    Abstract: A vaporizer allowing for transversely guiding liquid comprises a housing, in which a liquid storage chamber is defined. The housing is centrally provided with a flow path extending there-through, separated from the liquid storage chamber and having a vaporizing chamber, in which a vaporizing core is transversely disposed. The vaporizing core has a center through hole extending transversely with two ends being in communication with the liquid storage chamber, and comprises a porous body having a vaporizing surface, on which a heating layer is applied. Two distal ends of the heating layer are respectively connected with an electrode disk, and the heating layer is provided with vapor through-holes. Thus, the to-be-vaporized liquid is allowed to transversely flow into the center through hole, permeate to the vaporizing surface, be vaporized into vapor fog when the heating layer is electrified to generate heat, and flow out through the flow path.

The nickel-magnesium-zinc-copper ferrite can be applied in a magnetic device.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to establish initial settings for an automatic insulin delivery device. An adjusted total daily insulin (TDI) factor usable to calculate a TDI dosage may be determined. The adjusted TDI factor may be a TDI per unit of a physical characteristic of the user (e.g., weight) times a reduction factor. The adjusted TDI factor may be compared to a maximum algorithm delivery threshold. Based on the comparison result, the application or algorithm may set a TDI dosage and output a control signal. Blood glucose measurement values may be collected from a sensor over a period of time. A level of glycated hemoglobin of the blood may be determined based on the obtained blood glucose measurement values. In response to the level of glycated hemoglobin, the set TDI dosage may be modified. A subsequent control signal including the modified TDI dosage may be output to actuate delivery of insulin.

    Abstract: The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for automatic sign in upon account signup. Particularly, the present embodiments can utilize a federated login approach for automatic sign in upon account signup for a cloud infrastructure. Specifically, the signup and sign in service (also known as SOUP) and an identity provider portal can be configured such that the nodes are aware of each other as Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) partners. After new account registration, the signup service can redirect the user browser to a cloud infrastructure console to start with a federated login flow, where a sign in service can issue a SAML authentication request, and redirects it to signup service. Responsive to validating the browser using a SAML authentication process, the browser can be automatically signed into the new account and allowed access the account relating to the cloud infrastructure service.
