  • Publication number: 20160231328
Abstract: Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is often conjugated with therapeutic proteins to enhance their PK properties. PEG may, however, be immunogenic, and the presence of PEG in food and cosmetics is believed to result in pre-existing anti-PEG antibodies in humans. Polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies reactive to PEG are provided for use in immunogenicity assay development to detect such anti-drug antibodies. Such antibodies exhibit preferential binding based on the size of PEG with molecular weight ranging from 350 daltons to 40 kD. Anti-PEG antibodies of the invention are engineered to comprise human Fc regions to enable non-bridging immunoassay formats.

  • Publication number: 20150004494
Abstract: The present invention discloses a high electrochemical performance silicon/graphene composite anode structure. The electrochemical properties of silicon in the composite anode structure can be improved by graphene thin films. The thickness of the silicon thin film and the graphene thin films is less than 50 nm to prevent the composite anode structure from any volumetric change during the charge/discharge process. The manufacturing procedure starts with the formation of a Si/graphene unit layer, which includes an amorphous phase upper silicon thin film and a lower graphene thin film, on a copper foil current collector, so as to decrease the difference of conductivity between the silicon thin film and the copper foil current collector. Finally, the deposition is concluded with the formation of a graphene thin film on the topmost surface of the silicon thin film to prevent the surface of the anode structure from oxidation.

  • Patent number: 8674249
Abstract: A capacitive touch panel has precise etching lines formed on a transparent conductive film so as to form with a desired pattern. As a result, the hollowed portion on the conductive film will be reduced greatly and thus the flatness of the capacitance sensing structure will be improved and the transmittances in different areas will tend to be uniform. Thus the image distortion in the screen below the touch panel will be improved. Besides, the etching lines will divide the waste etching areas on the conductive lines into a plurality of small units which can reduce the capacitances of the noises.

  • Publication number: 20130290255
Abstract: In embodiments of dynamic replication of networked files, a process that utilizes file system objects is executed on a computing device. A file system request that is initiated by the process for a requested file system object can be intercepted, and a determination is made as to whether the requested file system object exists based on file system metadata. The file system request from the process is returned if the requested file system object is stored on the computing device. Alternatively, replication of the requested file system object is initiated from a networked peer device that has the requested file system object to replicate the file system object to the computing device. Alternatively, an indication that the requested file system object does not exist can be returned to the process.
