  • Publication number: 20070269102
Abstract: This invention relates to a three-dimensional image of ground surface and the method and system that generates the three-dimensional image. Here, a three-dimensional image is an image that has three-dimensional XYZ coordinates in a ground coordinate system for every pixel of the image and the ground surface means the bare-earth surface plus all the objects on the bare-earth surface. The scene covered and represented by such a three-dimensional image is a three-dimensional real world scene where everything visible in the three-dimensional image has three-dimensional coordinates. The three-dimensional XYZ coordinates of all the pixels of a three-dimensional image are attributed by the method and system of this invention for generating three-dimensional images with airborne oblique/vertical imagery, GPS/IMU, and LIDAR ground surface elevation or range data.

  • Publication number: 20070128116
Abstract: In the broadest sense an inventive conjugate includes a macrocyclic scaffold moiety incorporating at least one nitrogen atom. Through linkages to the ring, nitrogen atoms are bonded to at least one therapeutic species, or one cellular trafficking species, and preferably two or more types of trafficking species. The linkages between ring nitrogen atoms and agents are formed through N—C, N—S, N—O or N—N bonds. It is appreciated that more than one agent or agent species are coupled to a ring nitrogen atom through the inclusion of a branched carbon atom or secondary amine nitrogen within the intermediate between the agent and ring nitrogen atom. A disulfide bond intermediate between an agent and a linkage to the ring nitrogen is preferred in instances where intracellular release of the agent or trafficking species is desired. An optional metal ion is coordinated by the scaffolding moiety.

  • Publication number: 20070076601
Abstract: Traffic demands are routed across links of an information network so as to avoid congestion and allow for future traffic growth. Traffic demands from a source node to a destination node of the network are monitored, including bandwidths associated with each of the demands. For each demand, and for a given link of the network, that portion of the bandwidth associated with each traffic demand which is provided by the given link, is determined. A maximum value of link utilization among all links of the network is then determined, wherein link utilization is defined as the amount of bandwidth used by all traffic demands routed through a given link with respect to a total capacity of the link. Traffic demands are then routed across the links of the network in such a manner as to minimize the maximum value of link utilization.

  • Publication number: 20060223111
Abstract: A biosensor includes at least two sensors having different resonant frequencies. The different resonant frequencies of the sensors can be achieved by fabricating the sensors with different spatial profiles of regions of high and low dielectric constant. Because the sensors have different resonant frequencies, they can be monitored in parallel with little or no optical interference. The sensors can be monitored in parallel by simultaneously applying a swept optical signal to the sensors, where the wavelength range of the swept optical signal includes the resonant frequencies of both sensors. Because the sensors have different resonant frequencies, changes in the resonant frequencies of the two sensors can be monitored in parallel using a single detector.

  • Patent number: 7116067
Abstract: A method of controlling a power converter (20) of a motor drive system (10)controls the power converter (20) during a first operating mode by applying a current control scheme, which sets power converter commands to control torque current flowing from the power converter (20) to the motor (30) to achieve desired motor speed; and initiates a second operating mode when power supply to the power converter (20) is interrupted. The second operating mode includes controlling negative torque current between the power converter (20) and the motor (30) so that mechanical energy from the motor (30) charges an element (58) on a power supply side of the power converter (20). The first operating mode is resumed when the input power recovers. Torque current between the power converter (20) and the motor (30) is also controlled to limit a maximum transient DC bus voltage.
