    Abstract: A crawling device is used for surrounding a cylinder and crawling along the extension direction of the mentioned cylinder. The kind of crawling device may include at least two-nodes crawling modules, a telescopic mechanism, and a control circuit. The telescopic mechanism connects with two-nodes crawling modules, and the crawling modules have an elastic mechanism and a drawstring respectively. In creeping movement, the at least two-nodes crawling modules are set in turn that one crawling module as a fixed section and the other crawling module as a mobile section. When the crawling module is set as a fixed section, the crawling module adjusts the drawstring through the elastic mechanism to make the fixed section close to the cylinder. Producing friction by keeping close to the cylinder let the fixed section maintain the fixed state relatively close to the cylinder.

A plurality of vectored propulsion units working in coordination allows an unmanned aerial vehicle to maneuver with any stance or body orientation.

    Abstract: Technologies are provided in embodiments to monitor and analyze networks. The embodiments can cause a bit in a first bit sequence of a device filter to indicate a failure state based on not receiving a message from a node in a network during a reporting time interval, and upon the reporting time interval expiring, to combine the first bit sequence with a corresponding bit sequence of a shadow filter. The combination preserves, in the shadow filter, an indication of the failure state from the bit in the first bit sequence and any other indications of failure states from bits of the corresponding bit sequence of the shadow filter. More specific embodiments cause, upon the reporting interval expiring, a bit in a second bit sequence of the device filter to indicate a no failure state based on an indication of another no failure state in the first bit sequence.

Service-related metrics are received from all IoT network elements in a network. The service-related metrics are parsed to extrapolate a network topology. From the topology, a set of critical service delivery points are determined based on data extracted from the service-related metrics. The critical service delivery points may be monitored for service interruptions and alerts may be generated in response to interruptions. Additionally the extrapolated network topology may be compared to a previously recorded topology of the network, and based on the delta, alerts may be generated when the delta meets a threshold.
