  • Publication number: 20230194692
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to focusing processing resources of a radar apparatus to radar data associated with specific locations around an autonomous vehicle (AV). Data associated with a type of sensing apparatus that is not a radar (e.g. a camera and/or a LiDAR apparatus) that tracks motion of specific objects around the AV may be used by a processor to identify specific sets of radar data to process. Locations associated with a specific set of tracked objects may be used to identify sets of received radar signals that will be processed by the radar apparatus. Radar signals received by the radar apparatus that are associated with locations that do not correspond to a location of a tracked object may be ignored by the radar apparatus to reduce a number of computational tasks that a processor of the radar apparatus must process.

  • Publication number: 20120070483
Abstract: A polymeric coating is adapted to substantially eliminate thrombus formation when in contact with blood. The polymeric coating includes a first polymeric layer and a second polymeric layer. Interposed between the first and second polymeric layers is a polymeric matrix layer doped with at least one of a nitric oxide donor and a nitric oxide generator. • Publication number: 20110117164
Abstract: A method for increasing, prolonging, and/or controlling the release rates of nitric oxide (NO) from polymeric materials containing NO adducts. Such NO-containing polymeric materials may find use in devices such as blood contacting devices, and biocompatible devices utilizing the same. The method and device utilizes anionic site additives, acidic site additives and/or acidic producing site additives in a polymer that contains NO-adducts to generate higher fluxes of NO to exceed NO threshold levels desirable to substantially prevent and/or minimize reactions such as platelet activation or adhesion.

  • Patent number: 7327202
Abstract: An IQ modulator's performance is optimized through determination of suitable control parameters by the application of known DC biases as the I and Q inputs. Also known are the relative amplitude and actual phase of the sine and cosine carriers to be modulated before they are summed. It is shown that by measuring an RMS voltage Atotal an appropriate number of times for a related combination of the applied DC biases in conjunction with the other known input parameters, a number of behavior parameters that are indicative of mixer performance can be discovered through analysis, such as the solution of a system of linear equations. The combination of behavior parameters may be assigned a Figure Of Merit (FOM) that can be taken as an indication of the degree to which mixer operation approaches ideal behavior. The control parameters may be perturbed over a selected range, and the extraction of the behavior parameters repeated.

  • Patent number: 7290189
Abstract: In one embodiment, a selection of plural testflows is first obtained. Each testflow specifies how automated test equipment (ATE) should test at least one device. Calibration information is then identified for each of the testflows, and redundancies in the identified calibration information are eliminated to compile a set of non-redundant information for performing a focused calibration over the ATE and selected testflows.

  • Patent number: 7206710
Abstract: In one embodiment, a request to perform a calibration process for automated test equipment (ATE) is received. The request is associated with a calibration parameter set. After receiving the request, one or more signatures for calibration data corresponding to the calibration parameter set are derived, and a determination is made as to whether calibration data corresponding to the signature(s) has already been generated. Thereafter, an incremental set of calibration data is generated, with the generated calibration data i) corresponding to the signature(s), but ii) not having already been generated. In another embodiment, a request to perform a calibration process for ATE is received, and the request is associated with specified test setups. An incremental set of calibration data corresponding to the specified test setups is then generated.
