Abstract: Circuits and methods for measuring a working current of a circuit module. An exemplary circuit for measuring a working current of a circuit module includes a capacitor. The capacitor supplies a voltage to the circuit module using a voltage on the two terminals of the capacitor. The circuit also includes a voltage measuring module. The voltage measuring module measures a voltage change amount on the two terminals of the capacitor in an unit time. The working current of the circuit module is determined by the circuit according to the voltage change amount on the two terminals of the capacitor in the unit time and a capacitance of the capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20180358840
Abstract: A decentralized voltage control method for a microgrid based on nonlinear state observers, comprising the steps of step 10), establishing a large-signal model of distributed generations, a connection network and impedance-type loads in the microgrid; step 20), establishing a Luenberger-like nonlinear state observer for each distributed generation; step 30), estimating the dynamic characteristics of other distributed generations in real time based on the local measured values of each distributed generation; and step 40), implementing the decentralized voltage control based on the control requirements of reactive power sharing and voltage restoration. The control method realizes the voltage control of microgrid based on the decentralized state observers, which does not rely on communication transmission or remote measurement and avoids the adverse effects of communication latency and data drop-out on the control performance.

  • Patent number: 10152611
Abstract: Determining sensitive information and preventing the unauthorized or unintended dissemination of such information are disclosed. Terms are determined from documents associated with users in a network. Distributions among users and relative frequencies with which the terms are used are determined. Link strengths between users are calculated. Based on the distribution of the terms, the relative frequencies of use among the user profiles and link strengths between users conducting information transactions that include the terms, a sensitivity level for each term can be determined. To determine whether a particular information transaction with particular terms may be conducted between two users in the network, a combination of link strength between the users and sensitivity level of the terms with respect to the users or users' profiles are considered. If the information transaction includes terms that are unknown to one of the users, then a warning or alarm can be raised.

  • Publication number: 20180346954
Abstract: This application describes consortium between fungi and algae, where the algae are incorporated within hyphae of the fungi. The fungi, the algae, or both can be modified to express heterologous lipid synthesizing enzymes. Incorporation of algae into fungi facilitates harvesting of the algae and products produced by the consortia. Such consortia are robust. For example, the fungi and algae can symbiotically provide nutrients to each other and are tolerant of environmental stresses.
