Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for networking and a corresponding device. The method includes in response to a terminal device accessing network, obtaining configuration information of the terminal device; based on the configuration information, determining a traffic path associated with the terminal device; and configuring an underlying network node of the network based on the traffic path such that the underlying network node routes traffic associated with the terminal device based on the traffic path. A device that can implement the above method is further disclosed.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for controlling Quality of Service (QoS) selection in Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) services. In one embodiment, a MEC server is at a Radio Access Network (RAN), and implements edge applications that provide the MEC services. The MEC server queries a core network for a QoS policy for a mobile device that indicates QoS profile options for the mobile device, and receives the QoS policy from the core network. The MEC server monitors for a triggering event that triggers selection of a QoS profile, selects the QoS profile from the QoS profile options for a user plane connection established for a MEC service between the mobile device and an edge application in response to the triggering event, and provides a QoS profile identifier for the QoS profile to a base station in the RAN to enforce the QoS profile on the user plane connection.

Abstract: Implementations disclosed describe a system and a method to execute a virtual machine on a processing device, receive a request to access a memory page identified by a guest virtual memory address (GVA) in an address space of the virtual machine, translate the GVA to a guest physical memory address (GPA) using a guest page table (GPT) comprising a GPT entry mapping the GVA to the GPA, translate the GPA to a host physical address (HPA) of the memory page, store, in a translation lookaside buffer (TLB), a TLB entry mapping the GVA to the HPA, modify the GPT entry to designate the memory page as accessed, detect an attempt by an application to modify the GPT entry; generate, in response to the attempt to modify the GPT entry, a page fault; and flush, in response to the page fault, the TLB entry.

Abstract: A data arrangement method of a flash memory, a flash memory storage device, and a flash memory control circuit unit are provided. The method may be applied to a flash memory, an embedded memory device, or a solid-state disk having a three-dimensional (3D) structure. The method includes: executing a background garbage collection operation in a background mode; receiving at least one write command from a host when the background garbage collection operation is not completed to suspend the background garbage collection operation and exit the background mode; executing the at least one write command; and entering the background mode and continuing the execution of the background garbage collection operation after the at least one write command is completed. Therefore, execution efficiency of the write command in a foreground mode may be optimized.

For example, a computing device, which may be configured to operate as one or more network functions of a fifth generation wireless system (5G), may be associated with a first network. The computing device may receive, from an application or service server, and via a second network, QoS information. The QoS information may associate an application or service with one or more QoS flow identifiers (QFIs) or other indicator of a level of QoS. A PDU session may be established for a user device and the application or service. Based on the QoS information, the computing device may send a request that causes the PDU session to be modified. Upon modification, the PDU session may transport, based on data including the QFI or other indicator of a level of QoS, the data via the first network.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that sets a write protection flag in a guest command buffer associated with a virtual machine and injects a semaphore command into a shadow command buffer in response to a fault. For example, changes in the usage of the network slice or the usage of the overall network infrastructure may cause a change to a billing rate associated with the network slice. These aspects, and others described herein, may result in improved network performance by, for example, offloading extra usage from an overloaded network slice to a network slice that is currently less used.
