  • Patent number: 11978887
Abstract: A method of preparing cathode particles using a co-precipitation reaction in a reactor is disclosed. A feed stream (a) containing metal cations is fed into the reactor, and a feed stream (b) containing anions is fed into the reactor, wherein a ratio of the metal cations in the feed stream (a) is continuously changed from A1 at time t1 to A2 at time t2. The feed stream (a) and the feed stream (b) are contacted in the reactor to form precipitated precursor particles, and at least one transition metal component in the particle has a non-linear continuous concentration gradient profile over at least a portion along a thickness direction of the particle.

  • Patent number: 11818091
Abstract: Discovery of communication platform features or exposure of such features to the user may include generating embeddings for a variety of types of communication platform content and communications. These embeddings may be used to characterize and compare various communication platform features and ultimately expose these features to a user when the user may not have otherwise encountered them. The embeddings may additionally or alternatively be used to determine a degree of alignment.

  • Patent number: 11711404
Abstract: A communication platform may comprise different systems for helping a user discover features of the platform. However, the systems may generate different results. An application programming interface (API) may receive such outputs and may be configured to select between the outputs based on detecting a state at a user's computing device and/or using a machine-learned model to weight the outputs and/or probabilities associated therewith using a target metric. The API may then rank the outputs and select from among them based at least in part on the target metric.

  • Patent number: 11253919
Abstract: Some embodiments of the disclosure provide a toughened TiAl-based alloy sheet with periodically misaligned through-hole titanium alloy layers sequentially stacked together. A through structure is formed in the misaligned through-hole titanium alloy layer. Two openings of the through structure are respectively located on upper and lower surfaces of the titanium alloy layer. The misaligned opening position of the through structure is at a center position of a quadrangle formed by every four through holes in adjacent titanium alloy layers. The through structure is filled with a TiAl-based alloy. The TiAl-based alloy layers on adjacent sides of the titanium alloy layer are connected through the TiAl-based alloy in the through structure. The TiAl-based alloy layer is connected to the titanium alloy layer through a Ti3Al interface layer. The TiAl-based alloy and the titanium alloy in the through structure are connected through a Ti3Al interface layer.

  • Patent number: 10891592
Abstract: Instead of a fixed fee for a particular job application, discussed in some examples are methods, systems, and machine readable mediums which provide for a job posting service that utilizes a pay-per-click model. That is, job posters pay a fee for each time the member selects the job posting for further inquiry when that posting is shown to a member (called an impression). The fee that is paid is determined by the job poster. Selecting a job posting may comprise clicking on or otherwise entering an input signifying an intention to view the job.

  • Publication number: 20200208007
Abstract: A stimuli-responsive color-changing functional coating is prepared from the following raw materials: an epoxy resin, a furanone pigment, an amine curing agent, and a solvent. The furanone pigment is an organic conjugated conductive molecule. The amine curing agent reacts with the furanone pigment to form a cross-linked molecule containing a hydrogen bond that can exhibit excellent electron transition behaviors. Moreover, as the cross-linked molecule is unstable, it may give rise to electron transitions with different properties under different stimulus conditions, imparting a color-changing property to the coating that allows the coating to have different colors in response to different environmental stimuli. Experimental results show that the stimuli-responsive color-changing functional coating in the present invention has thermochromic, ultraviolet-photochromic and strongly acidochromic properties, and is responsive to diverse color-changing stimulus conditions with a wide color-changing range.

  • Patent number: 10541879
Abstract: A system for conserving resources in a multi-channel control system environment is provided. A resource limit that is associated with a content delivery campaign is determined. A prediction of resource usage that is associated with the content delivery campaign and a first content delivery channel is determined. A content request is received through a second content delivery channel that is different than the first content delivery channel. In response, based on data contained within the content request, the content delivery campaign is identified. Also, based on the resource limit and the prediction of resource usage associated with the content delivery campaign and the first content delivery channel, it is determined whether to respond to the content request with data associated with the content delivery campaign.

  • Publication number: 20190057404
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods, and machine readable mediums which provide for a forecasting service that, given a query that specifies job posting features produces one or more forecasted metrics for that job posting information over a particular period of time for a pay-per-click job posting model. By providing forecasting metrics, it allows job posters an ability to plan with a degree of certainty how much a particular job post is going to cost given a bid. Moreover, the metrics may visually show an expected value to the job poster for posting the job on the job posting service.

  • Publication number: 20180253759
Abstract: Techniques are provided for building a unified model for selecting content items of different types in response to receiving electronic content requests transmitted over a network. In one technique, in response to a request, multiple content items are identified. The multiple content items include a first content item of a first type and a second content item of a second type. A first engagement value that indicates a first level of engagement of an online resource for content items of the first type is determined. A first predictive user selection rate is generated for the first content item based on the first engagement value. A second predictive user selection rate is generated for the second content item. The multiple content items are ranked based, at least in part, on the predictive user selection rates. A particular content item is then selected based on the predictive user selection rates.
