  • Patent number: 7370490
Abstract: The present invention relates to an air-conditioning system with full heat recovery comprising a condenser, an evaporator, a compressor and an expansion valve; one side of the condenser is disposed in a position corresponding to an indoor air outlet and an outdoor air inlet; the other side of the condenser is provided with an exhaust vent; and a cooling fan is disposed between the exhaust vent and a cooling air opening. The present air-conditioning system with full heat recovery can be connected with a condensate recycle system. The present invention utilizes low temperature, low humidity indoor exhaust air as cooling air for the evaporative condenser. It makes use of the sensible heat (temperature difference) of indoor exhaust air as well as the latent heat (humidity difference) of indoor exhaust air, thereby attaining better condensation effects. It also uses the condensate to assist cooling and increases cooling and water saving effects.

  • Publication number: 20080062955
Abstract: A method and system for implementing an inter-Access Network (AN) handoff in an active state in a High Rate Packet Data (HRPD) Network. The method mainly includes determining that an inter-AN handoff operation is necessary and initiating a handoff procedure to perform the inter-AN handoff, sending data to be transmitted to an access terminal to the destination AN in advance in the handoff procedure, and then sending the access terminal the data to be transmitted to the access terminal by the source AN or the destination AN according to the result of the handoff procedure. With the method according to the present invention, the continuity of a service may be improved. Even if the inter-AN handoff procedure fails, the source PCF may send data information obtained upon the start of the handoff to the access terminal when the access terminal returns to the source AN since the source PCF may receive data from the PDSN throughout the handoff procedure. As a result, the continuity of a service may be improved.

Abstract: A method for an Access Terminal (AT) in a 1x network to establish an High Rate Packet Data (HRPD) network packet data service includes: initiating, by the AT, a session establishment request to a target Access Network/Packet Control Function (AN/PCF) of an HRPD network; establishing, by the target AN/PCF, an HRPD session with the AT after obtaining session information of an existing HRPD session; performing, by the target AN/PCF and the AT, session configuration based on the obtained session information, and establishing a data connection for the packet data service. In the present invention, an AT in the 1x network can establish a packet data service with an HRPD network when there is an existing packet data session in the HRPD network. The present invention is advantageous for seamless service handoff between the 1x network and the HRPD network, thereby realizing complement of the two networks and improving user experience.

  • Publication number: 20050289029
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for a third party paying for the multimedia message transmission from a sending party. The third party signs a third party paying contract with a service provider or the sending party, the service provider sets an account for the third party in the billing system and stores the third party paying rules and relevant information. The sending party transmits a multimedia message to the MMS Relay/Sever thereof, the MMS Relay/Sever thereof acquires the third party paying rules and relevant information. If the multimedia message transmission from the sending party is to be paid by the third party, the MMS Relay/Sever of the sending party, after sending the MM to the receiving party, notifies the billing system of the service provider that this MM transmission is to be paid by third party, the billing system of the service provider then deducts relevant cost from the account of the third party.
