    Abstract: A method is provided for TCI switching related to CSI-RS measurement and reporting, spatial relation switch for SRS, PUSCH, and PUCCH. The PDSCH and PDCCH are received according to the QCLed aperiodic CSI-RS. When the AP CSI-RS is configured as the reference in the TCI of PDSCH, UE may apply the updated TCI for the PDSCH, after the corresponding aperiodic report has been received at the network. Spatial relation switch is based on the valid measurement report. The spatial relation switch delay of aperiodic SRS can be performed when UE has sent the corresponding measurement report to the network.

    Abstract: A method of sidelink communications can include receiving at a user equipment (UE) a configuration for a first resource pool indicating a first size of a first first-stage sidelink control information (SCI) in terms of a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols and a second size of the first first-stage SCI in terms of a number of physical resource blocks (PRBs). The first resource pool can be divided into slots in time domain and sub-channels each occupying a set of PRBs in frequency domain. The first first-stage SCI having the first size of the number of OFDM symbols and the second size of the number of PRBs indicated by the configuration for the first resource pool can be transmitted within a first slot and a first sub-channel of the first resource pool.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure can provide an apparatus and method for cell reselection in a New Radio (NR) system. In some examples, the apparatus includes transceiver and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry ranks a priority list of frequencies which correspond to a plurality of cells, wherein the cells are part of a NR system. The plurality of cells can include a current serving cell, one or more inter-frequency cells, and one or more intra-frequency cells. The processing circuitry measures reference signal received power (RSRP) and/or reference signal received quality (RSRQ) of the cells in the priority list of frequencies in an unused synchronization signal block (SSB) time location in a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. Further, the processing circuitry can select a new serving cell when the measured signal performance of the new serving cell satisfies a cell selection criteria.
