    Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include methods for implementing communication conversion between a server-client system and a publish-subscribe (pub-sub) system. An example may include: receiving a message from the pub-sub system, wherein a topic of the message includes information related to a target service in the server-client system to which the message is to be sent, and a payload of the message includes identification information of a consumer in the pub-sub system, wherein the consumer is to receive a response message from the server-client system; parsing the message to determine a host and a service provider that provide the target service, and the consumer who is to receive the response message; sending a request message for the target service to the service provider on the determined host; receiving the response message; adding the identification information to the response message; and sending it to the pub-sub system.

    Abstract: Macroblocking artifacts are assessed in an encoded video. Edges are detected and edge strengths are computed at macroblock boundaries in each decoded frame of the video. The detected edges are paired at horizontal or vertical sides of each macroblock to identify macroblock edge pairs. A macroblocking level of the frame is identified according to the macroblock edge pairs. For instance, for each of the macroblock edge pairs, the edges of the pair are identified as being macroblocking edges if edge strengths of both sides of the pair exceed a significance threshold, and the macroblocking level of the frame is determined by aggregating the macroblocking edges in the frame.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a steel alloy sheet to enhance flatness. The method includes, inter alia, heating a steel alloy material to a first temperature that is greater than a full-austenitization point for the steel alloy material; holding steel alloy material at the first temperature for a period greater than or equal to about 1 second to less than or equal to about 10,000 seconds to from a precursor steel sheet; air quenching the precursor steel sheet to a second temperature that is less than the first temperature and greater than martensitic transformation starting temperature for the steel alloy material; and cooling the precursor steel sheet to room temperature to prepare the steel alloy sheet. The steel alloy material includes greater than or equal to about 0.5 wt. % to less than or equal to about 6 wt. % of chromium.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a random access method and a terminal, applied to the communication field, to improve uplink coverage in high frequency band communication systems such as 5G and 6G communication systems. The method in embodiments of this application includes: A network device configures a plurality of SULs in one cell, where the plurality of SULs are used to supplement uplink coverage of the cell; the network device sends configuration information of the plurality of SULs to a terminal device; and after receiving the configuration information, the terminal device may select one SUL used for random access from the plurality of SULs based on the configuration information. In embodiments of this application, because the cell includes the plurality of SULs, a requirement that a large quantity of terminals in the cell can access a network can be met, and a success rate of uplink random access by the plurality of terminals is improved.

Then, the iron alloy may be heated at a temperature sufficient to precipitate intermetallic nanoparticles from the supersaturated solid solution to form an intermetallic precipitate phase dispersed throughout an iron-based matrix phase. A chemical compound layer may be formed at and along a surface of the iron alloy by exposing the iron alloy to an oxygen-containing and/or nitrogen-containing environment.
