Abstract: A data storage device mounting assembly for mounting a data storage device (400) with screws (401) includes a bracket (100), and an operating member (200). The bracket includes a first sidewall (130) and a second sidewall (150) each defining a groove (131) therein. The first sidewall includes a protrusion (137) near the groove. The operating member comprises a locking portion (220) with a cutout (222) and a fixing hole (224). The operating member is rotatably attached to the first sidewall of the bracket. The data storage device is slidably moved into the bracket with screws sliding in the grooves. The data storage device is secured in the bracket with the screw held in the cutout and the protrusion received in the fixing hole of the operating member.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for a motherboard (10) providing a plurality of apertures (14) includes a panel (20), a support plate (40) attached to the panel and a fastener (50) for fastening the motherboard to the support plate. The panel includes a plurality of catches (21) and a pair of stoppers (23). The support plate includes a plurality of latches (44) and a fixing hole (46) corresponding the apertures of the motherboard respectively, and a plurality of catch openings (43) for engagingly receiving the catches of the panel to secure the support plate to the panel. The latches are configured to allow the motherboard be slid from a first position to a second position in which the motherboard is engaged with the latches. The fastener fastens the motherboard to the support plate at the second postion. The motherboard is thus secured to the panel of the chassis.

Abstract: A computer enclosure (1) includes a chassis (50), a rear window frame (70), an expansion card seat (10) and a retaining plate (80). The chassis includes a bottom plate (53), a rear plate (52) and a side plate (53). The rear plate forms a slideway (55) and a beam (59) at a top thereof, and defines an opening between the slideway and the beam. The rear window frame includes a bottom panel (71) having a slide board (72), and an expansion slot frame (76) received in the opening. The seat includes a base plate (12) received in the opening, a supporting plate (16) extending from the base plate, a locking plate (34) extending from the supporting plate and engaging with the beam. The retaining plate is detachably attached to the seat for retaining expansion cards to the expansion card slots in the chassis.

Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a chassis (30), a hood (10) and a fastener (20) securing the hood to the chassis. The chassis includes a rear panel (33) forming an L-shaped tab thereon, and a pair of side panels each defining a plurality of splits (37). The hood includes a recessed portion (12) and a plurality of hooks (17) engaging with the splits. The fastener includes a handle (22) pivotably attached to the recessed portion, a latch (24) pivotably attached to the handle and engaging with the tab of the chassis, and a spring urging the latch to engage with the tab. When the handle is pivoted from a locked position to an unlocked position the latch is disengaged from the tab and is removed away from the rear panel to cause the handle to move the hood thereby releasing the hooks from the splits.
