  • Publication number: 20100153596
Abstract: A method for producing a mapping tool, a PC game having the mapping tool and operation method therefore is disclosed. The mapping tool is created by means of linking a remote motion signal generated from a remote device which is operated by user with a keyboard signal from the inside of the conventional keyboard mapping table. User may operate the PC game through the mapping tool. The present invention employs the said mapping tool to replace the conventional keyboard motion mapping table, thereby achieving the objectives of providing natural ergonomic and consistently using the existing PC game having the keyboard motion mapping table.

Abstract: A collection, analysis and feedback system for consumption information includes a remote computer that is connected with a network and displays a graphical user interface so that the user can input or set an option, a user database that stores a plurality of user data and is connected with the remote computer via the network, a commodity database that stores a plurality of commodity icons, and a network activity database that makes the remote computer to load in the user data via the network. The network activity database transmits a variety of operation requests to the remote computer and displays the operation request on the graphical user interface. The remote computer sends the selection requests to the commodity database and the operation requests to the network activity database so that the commodity database outputs and transmits the statistical data to the user database to update the loaded user data.

  • Publication number: 20100064213
Abstract: An operation device for a graphical user interface includes an image sensing unit and a GUI. The image sensing unit includes an IR lighting device, an image obtaining device, and a calculation control module. The IR lighting device is used for emitting IR to the user. The IR reflected from the user pass through the image obtaining device, forms a photo image, and outputs a digital image signal. The calculation control module receives and calculates the digital image signal, and corresponds to the user's body motions to generate an operation signal. The GUI is connected with the image sensing unit and is displayed on a display screen. By using the operation signal generated form the image sensing unit, the user can use the body motion to control and operate the GUI.

  • Publication number: 20090104993
Abstract: An electronic game controller with motion-sensing capability includes an inertia sensing and wireless transmission unit, an image sensing unit and a control unit. The image sensing unit extracts and recognizes the images of the profile of the user's body to generate signals indicative of the displacement or specific postures of the user. The inertia sensing and wireless transmission unit senses the motions of the user's body to generate signals indicative of the rotation, rhythmic motions, swing or force of the user's body. The control unit receives the signals and integrates them to generate control signals, thereby controlling the marker on the display picture of the electronic game. With the cooperation of the image sensing unit and the inertia sensing and wireless transmission unit, various motions or exercising states of the user can be sensed, thereby providing the user with a more complete and exquisite operating interface for the electronic game.

  • Publication number: 20090082108
Abstract: An electronic game controller includes a front body, a rear body, a plurality of function keys and a rotating mechanism. The front body includes a second end surface non-orthogonal to its longitudinal axis. The rear body includes a third end surface parallel to the second end surface and non-orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the rear body. The function keys are disposed on the front and the rear bodies. The rotating mechanism is connected with the second and the third end surfaces, that is, the front and the rear bodies are pivotally connected with each other via the rotating mechanism. Accordingly, since the rear body can rotate relative to the front body and be positioned via the rotating mechanism, the present invention can provide more than two ways of being held to enhance users' enjoyment of playing electronic games.

  • Publication number: 20080313298
Abstract: A messaging session is established between a first user and a second user where messages are sent from a first user using a first device to a second user using a second device. During the messaging session, the second user may decide to use a third device. A presence update may be received that specifies the third device. Messages sent from the first user are then routed to the second user at the third device. These messages are routed without the second user having to manually start a new messaging session with the first user.
