Abstract: A motion sensing system includes a hand-held device and a receiver device. The hand-held device includes a microcontroller, a G-sensor (one 3-axis accelerometer), only one 2-axis gyroscope, and a wireless transmitter. The receiver device is preferably a dongle and includes a microcontroller and a wireless receiver. A first axis of the 2-axis gyroscope is parallel to the Z axis of the hand-held device and the second axis of the 2-axis gyroscope forms an acute angle ? with the X axis of the hand-held device. The acute angle ? allows the microcontroller of the receiver device to calculate rotational data around each of the three axis of the hand-held device.

Abstract: A ferromagnetic powder composition including soft magnetic iron-based core particles, wherein the surface of the core particles is provided with at least one phosphorus-based inorganic insulating layer and then at least partially covered with metal-organic compound(s), wherein the total amount of metal-organic compound(s) is between 0.005 and 0.05% by weight of the powder composition, and wherein the powder composition further includes a lubricant. Abstract: A mobile device implements a method for interacting with an electronic device having a display function. The mobile device is operable to display at least one image including a primary image portion and a first secondary image portion. In the method, the mobile device is configured to transmit the primary image portion to the electronic device, to transform the first secondary image portion into a second secondary image portion that conforms with a specified presentation, to display the second secondary image portion, to generate a new primary image portion in response to a control signal, and to transmit the new primary image portion to the electronic device for display by the electronic device.

Abstract: A method of controlling a mobile device configured with a touch-sensitive display and a motion sensor is provided. The method includes: the step of detecting a contact with the touch-sensitive display while the mobile device is in a first state to determine whether the detected contact corresponds to a predefined icon; the step of detecting a rotation or movement with the motion sensor while the mobile device is in the first state to determine whether the detected rotation or the movement corresponds to a predefined gesture; and the step of transitioning the mobile device to a second state when the detected contact corresponds to the predefined icon, and the detected rotation or movement corresponds to the predefined gesture. Abstract: Techniques are provided for servicing requests that are issued in a protocol other than the protocol expected by the service. For example, many people want to use their mobile devices to interact with services, which require the ability to have multiple related messages in a session. However, their mobile devices do not have protocols that support interacting with such services. One technique provided herein is to interpose an intermediary between the mobile devices and the services to provide session capabilities on behalf of the mobile devices.

The mapping tool is created by means of linking a remote motion signal generated from a remote device which is operated by user with an input source signal from a conventional input source motion mapping table. User may operate the video game system for the stand-alone computer through the mapping tool. The present invention employs the mapping tool to replace conventional input source motion mapping table, thereby providing natural ergonomic and consistent usage of existing PC games or games for stand-alone computer having the input source motion mapping table.

Abstract: The present invention provides an interactive electronic system and an operation method for an interactive electronic system, wherein the interactive electronic system comprises: a first electronic device and a second electronic device. When the interactive electronic system is a portable electronic device (such as a notebook or a tablet PC), the first electronic device and the second electronic device can be a host and a wireless displayer, respectively. Since the host and the wireless displayer can be separated when the user uses the interactive electronic system, the interactive electronic system can efficiently reduce the weight loading for the user, and provide more freedom and better convenience for the user when using it.
