    Abstract: A method for dynamically simulating the thermal response of a building by integrating the ratio of convection heat to radiation heat of heating terminals is provided, and belongs to the technical field of building environments and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. A room thermophysical model of a building to be simulated is constructed. The ratio of radiation heat at the heating terminal is used as a variable in the room heat balance matrix equation, which shows that different heating terminals have different thermal characteristics due to different ratios of convection heat to radiation heat. The room heat balance matrix equation is solved to obtain a room air temperature equation. By integrating a heating-terminal thermal characteristic equation with the room air temperature equation, thermal characteristics of the heating terminals are combined with thermal characteristics of the building, which improves accuracy of dynamic simulation on a heating system.

    Abstract: A service layer may be configured to offload requests and responses on behalf of IoT applications in order to reduce congestion and/or overhead on underlying networks, applications and devices. The service layer may be enabled with the capability to script and generate IoT application requests such that the requests can be initiated by the service layer without the IoT application having to re-issue the same request repeatedly (e.g., to periodically retrieve a sensor reading). This scripting may be initiated by request originators. The service layer may support the capability to monitor and detect repetitive request patterns and initiate the scripting itself. This scripting functionality may enable the service layer to perform operations on behalf of IoT applications. As a result, the messaging overhead on IoT applications and devices as well as underlying networks can be minimized.

    Abstract: The disclosure herein describes using a transcript generation model for generating a transcript from a multi-speaker audio stream. Audio data including overlapping speech of a plurality of speakers is obtained and a set of frame embeddings are generated from audio data frames of the obtained audio data using an audio data encoder. A set of words and channel change (CC) symbols are generated from the set of frame embeddings using a transcript generation model. The CC symbols are included between pairs of adjacent words that are spoken by different people at the same time. The set of words and CC symbols are transformed into a plurality of transcript lines, wherein words of the set of words are sorted into transcript lines based on the CC symbols, and a multi-speaker transcript is generated based on the plurality of transcript lines. The inclusion of CC symbols by the model enables efficient, accurate multi-speaker transcription.
