Each leg has a main portion and a tip portion further from the back portion characterized in that the tip portion of each leg is angled relative to the main portion of the respective leg.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals retained in insulative housing, and a metal shell covering the insulative housing and including an inner side wall, a rear wall spaced from the inner side wall along a front-to-back direction, and an outer side wall bent forwardly from an outer side of the rear wall. The inner side wall defines an opening, and an inclined extensive plate extending forwardly and outwardly from an edge of the opening. The outer side wall has a retaining hole, and a front plate enclosing a front side of the retaining hole. The extensive plate has a hook bending inwardly and hitching the front plate after the hook passes through the retaining hole for preventing the outer side wall from moving forwardly and overly.

The grounding plate 4 includes a base portion 41 inserted into the accommodating slot 3181 and a protruding portion 42 having an elastic mating portion 423 connected with a mating connector. The metal shell 3 further has a rear shell 32 having a vertical covering plate 321 having a resisting portion 3211 extending upwardly and a shielding plate 323 extending forwardly from a top of the covering plate 321. The resisting portion 3211 upwardly abuts against the top wall 311. The grounding plate 4 would be easily assembled to the metal shell 3.

Abstract: An electrical connector adapted for at least two different mating connectors, comprises an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts retained on the housing. The insulative housing has a base and a tongue forwardly extending from the base. Each contact has a retaining portion retained in the base, a contact portion extending to the tongue from one end of the retaining portion, and at least one soldering portion extending out of the insulative housing from another end of the retaining portion. The contacts comprise two pairs of outer contacts at two sides thereof and at least one middle contact between said two pairs of outer contacts to connect with one contact of one mating connector or two contacts of another mating connector.

The junction box (100) further includes a plurality of clips (9) mounted in the insulative block (5) and electrically connecting with the contacting foils (6). The clip (9) includes a clamp spring (91) and an elastic plate (92) received in the clamp spring (91) to resist the clamping spring (91). As a result, the clamp spring (91) will not resist the cable connecting box so as to improve an using life of the junction box (100).

The insulative block comprises a hook and the cable connecting box comprises a front wall with a depressing slot corresponding to the hook. The hook and the depressing slot engage with each other, when the insulative block is damaged, the user can remove the insulative block away from the junction box by levering the hook.

The cable connecting box includes an insulative block, a plurality of contacting foils retained in the insultative block and a plurality of diodes. Each diode connects with two neighborly contacting foils. The contacting foils are insert-molded with the insulative block. Based on thermal radiation properties of the plastic material is superior to that of the metal material, as the contacting foils transfer the heat to the insulative block, the insulative block would deliver the heat to the cable connecting box, then the heat would be delivered to the cover. Such that, the heat dissipates outside quickly from the junction box.
