Abstract

Disclosed is a refillable cartridge candle using paraffin oil, which is capable of easily and conveniently mount a wick to a transparent container receiving a plurality of accessories and paraffin oil to obtain an enhanced decoration effect.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to a refillable cartridge candle using paraffin oil, and more particularly to a refillable cartridge candle using paraffin oil, which is capable of easily and conveniently mounting a wick or wick assembly to a transparent container receiving a plurality of accessories and paraffin oil, allowing the paraffin oil to be refillable, forming a candle pattern of diverse shapes, allowing a paraffin oil candle to be coupled to a disposable jelly type wax candle buried with accessories so as to utilize diverse shapes of the jelly type wax candle for decoration, and achieving a re-use of resources in accordance with the use of the paraffin oil while preventing a production of remnants, thereby maintaining the candle in a clean state.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] Wax candles are known as a traditional means used for an illumination at night in the old days when no electricity or gas were distributed. In these days, such wax candles are mainly used for interior decoration by virtue of a wide distribution of the electricity and gas.

[0005] However, wax candles, which are consumable and disposable, have a problem in that messy remnants are left after the burning of those wax candles, thereby degrading the decoration effect of the wax candles. Furthermore, the remnants cannot be re-used, thereby resulting in an environmental pollution.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Therefore, an object of the invention is to solve the above mentioned problems involved in the related art, and to provide a refillable cartridge candle using paraffin oil, which is capable of easily and conveniently mount a wick to a transparent container receiving a plurality of accessories and paraffin oil to obtain an enhanced decoration effect, allowing the paraffin oil to be refillable to achieve a re-use of resources, and preventing a production of remnants, thereby maintaining the candle in a clean state.

[0007] Another object of the invention is to provide a refillable cartridge candle using paraffin oil, which is capable of easily and conveniently mounting wick assemblies to a container, thereby forming a candle pattern of diverse shapes while allowing a paraffin oil candle to be coupled to a disposable jelly type wax candle buried with accessories so as to utilize diverse shapes of the jelly type wax candle for decoration.

[0008] In accordance with one aspect, the present invention provides a refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising: at least one transparent container having a chamber fillable with a plurality of accessories along with a paraffin oil, the transparent container being provided with a guide insertion hole at an upper end thereof while having an opening at a lower end thereof; a wick guide inserted into the chamber through the guide insertion hole of the transparent container; a wick inserted into the wick guide so that upper and lower ends thereof are protruded from respective upper and lower ends of the wick guide; a support stand having, at an upper surface thereof, a seating groove for receiving a lower end of the transparent container to support the transparent container; and sealing means adapted to seal the opening of the transparent container when the paraffin oil is injected into the transparent container, thereby preventing the paraffin oil from being leaked, the sealing means being filled in the seating groove around the opening of the transparent container.

[0012] In accordance with another aspect, the present invention provides a refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising: a paraffin oil; an oil pack having an oil chamber to be fillable with the paraffin oil; a transparent container having an oil pack receiving recess at an upper end thereof to separably receive the oil pack, the transparent container being formed with a downwardly opened chamber defined around the oil pack receiving recess and adapted to receive a plurality of accessories; a support stand having, at an upper surface thereof, a seating groove for receiving a lower end of the transparent container to support the transparent container; a cap centrally provided with a wick holder for holding a wick and laid on the upper end of the transparent container, the cap having a diameter larger than that of the oil pack receiving recess; and the wick inserted into the wick holder.

[0013] In accordance with another aspect, the present invention provides a refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising: a container having a chamber fillable with a paraffin oil, the container being provided with at least one fitting portion at a bottom thereof; and at least one wick assembly separably fitted in or around the at least one fitting portion of the container, respectively, the wick assembly including an incombustible wick guide provided, at a peripheral wall thereof, with at least one oil inlet port adapted to supply the paraffin oil from the container to the interior of the wick guide, and a wick inserted into the interior of the wick guide.

[0014] In accordance with the present invention, a fancy doll having diverse shapes and accessories of diverse shapes may be mounted in the transparent container. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain an enhanced decoration effect, while allowing a refill of paraffin oil, thereby achieving a re-use of resources. Since the paraffin oil can be completely burnt, the cartridge candle can be continuously used by refilling paraffin oil, without any production of remnants. Accordingly, the candle can be maintained in a clean state.

[0015] In accordance with the present invention, the process for centrally fixing a wick to a candle can be easily achieved. The limitation on the decoration based on candles resulting from this process is completely eliminated. A desired number of wick assemblies may be arranged in the container in accordance with the size and shape of the container along with the diameter and number of fitting portions formed at the bottom of the container. In accordance with an appropriate arrangement of the wick assemblies, it is also possible to form diverse words or diverse figures, using the flames on those wick assemblies.

Since the paraffin oil can be completely burnt, the cartridge candle can be continuously used by refilling paraffin oil, without any production of remnants. Accordingly, the candle can be semi-permanently used while being maintained in a clean state.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0029] The refillable cartridge according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a transparent container 1 having a chamber 2 filled with a plurality of accessories 13 along with a paraffin oil 15. The transparent container 1 is also provided with a guide insertion hole 3 at an upper end thereof while having an opening 4 at a lower end thereof. The guide insertion hole 3 and opening 4 are communicated with the chamber 2.

[0030] A wick guide 5 is inserted into the chamber 2 through the guide insertion hole 3. The wick guide 5 is provided at an upper end thereof with a flange-shaped stopper 8. By the stopper 8, the wick guide 5 is held on the upper end portion of the transparent container 1 around the guide insertion hole 3 in a state in which it is received in the chamber 2. A wick 7 is longitudinally inserted into the wick guide 5 in such a fashion that its upper and lower ends are protruded from the wick guide 5.

The lower end of the wick guide 5 extends to a position near the lower end of the transparent container 1 so that the wick 7 can feed the paraffin oil 15 even when the paraffin oil 15 is left only in the lower portion of the transparent container 1.

[0048] In accordance with the fifth embodiment of the present invention, each cartridge candle includes a container 60 having a chamber 61 filled with a paraffin oil 15. The container 60 is provided at the bottom thereof with at least one fitting portion having the form of a groove 63 or a protrusion 65. The fitting portion is adapted to support a wick assembly 50. Claims

1. A refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising:

at least one transparent container having a chamber fillable with a plurality of accessories along with a paraffin oil, the transparent container being provided with a guide insertion hole at an upper end thereof while having an opening at a lower end thereof;

a wick guide inserted into the chamber through the guide insertion hole of the transparent container;

a wick inserted into the wick guide so that upper and lower ends thereof are protruded from respective upper and lower ends of the wick guide;

a support stand having, at an upper surface thereof, a seating groove for receiving a lower end of the transparent container to support the transparent container; and

sealing means adapted to seal the opening of the transparent container when the paraffin oil is injected into the transparent container, thereby preventing the paraffin oil from being leaked, the sealing means being filled in the seating groove around the opening of the transparent container.

2. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 1, wherein the sealing means is made of a material selected from the group consisting of an epoxy resin, a urethane, and a cork.

3. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 1, wherein the sealing means comprises a packing received in the transparent container to define a step at the opening of the container and adapted to primarily seal the opening, and an epoxy resin filled in the step and adapted to secondarily seal the opening.

4. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 1, wherein the transparent container is provided at an upper portion thereof with an oil injection port for injecting the paraffin oil into the chamber of the transparent container.

5. A refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising:

a paraffin oil;

an oil pack having an oil chamber to be fillable with the paraffin oil;

a transparent container having an oil pack receiving recess at an upper end thereof to separably receive the oil pack, the transparent container being formed with a downwardly opened chamber defined around the oil pack receiving recess and adapted to receive a plurality of accessories;

a support stand having, at an upper surface thereof, a seating groove for receiving a lower end of the transparent container to support the transparent container;

a cap centrally provided with a wick holder for holding a wick and laid on the upper end of the transparent container, the cap having a diameter larger than that of the oil pack receiving recess; and

the wick inserted into the wick holder.

6. A refillable cartridge candle using a paraffin oil comprising:

a container having a chamber fillable with a paraffin oil, the container being provided with at least one fitting portion at a bottom thereof; and

at least one wick assembly separably fitted in or around the at least one fitting portion of the container, respectively, the wick assembly including an incombustible wick guide provided, at a peripheral wall thereof, with at least one oil inlet port adapted to supply the paraffin oil from the container to the interior of the wick guide, and a wick inserted into the interior of the wick guide.

7. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 6, wherein the at least one fitting portion comprises a plurality of fitting portions each having a protrusion or groove shape.

8. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 7, wherein the fitting portions are arranged to form a particular shape, figure, or pattern, or arranged to be uniformly spaced apart from one another.

9. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 6, wherein the bottom of the container has a flat surface, and further comprising a mat having a flat lower surface corresponding to the flat surface and the container and tight contacting the flat surface of the container over the entire portion thereof, the mat also having, at an upper surface thereof, at least one fitting portion substituted for the at least one fitting portion of the container.

10. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 6, further comprising:

a jelly type wax buried in a lower portion of the chamber defined in the container and adapted to decorate the container; and

at least one decorative accessory buried in the jelly type wax.

11. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 10, wherein the oil inlet port is arranged in an upper portion of the chamber where the paraffin oil is fillable.

12. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 6, wherein the container is made of a transparent or semitransparent material.

13. The refillable cartridge candle according to

claim 10, further comprising:

a decoration mounting portion provided at a central portion of the container and adapted to mount a decoration.
