Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a grip of golf club and its manufacture method, and more particularly to a grip of golf club with a damping effective expanded sandwiching and an anti-slip surface constituted of rubber collars and rubber-fibre composite spacing arrange, and the manufacture processing.

[0003] 2. Description of Prior Art

[0004] In accordance with the conventional grip of golf club, most of them are moulded of single material-rubber expected to buffer the strike on the hands as batting. But the damping effect is not so good as expectation actually. On the other hand, for increasing the friction between the grip and the hands so as to reduce the rate of slipping out from the hands, some manufacturers cover a fibre mesh on the outside surface of the semi-finished articles to process together so that the finished product appears many cross strands of fibre on the surface of the rubber grip (as shown on FIG. 9). Even though the rubber grip is covered with the fibre, the users still feel it will slip out easily.

OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a grip of golf club, which has a better damping effect as batting and more smoothly with a great friction.

[0006] This object is achieved by a grip of golf club, which is consisted of a core bar, an expanded sandwiching, and a surround. Wherein, the core bar has a collar indentation for retaining the expanded sandwiching and the surround sequentially from inner to outer; the surround is an anti-slip cover in which the rubber collars are covered on the hoop rubber and rubber-fibre composite's surfaces in spacing arrange axially.

[0007] For obtaining above-mentioned structure and functions, the manufacture process provided in the present invention includes the following processing steps: pre-mould the core bar with the collar indentation, and fill out the foaming material in the collar indentation; then cut out the raw rubber sheet suiting to cover on the outside of the foaming material, and layover the fibre mesh on the raw rubber sheet, next stick the rubber collars on the outside of the fibre mesh layer in spacing arrange axially to combine the surround; then gum the combined surround layer up on the core bar collar indentation portion filled with foaming material be a semi-finished article for standing by. Finally process the semi-finished grip in the mould with heating setting and sulphurating treatment to shape a finished product.

[0008] In processing, for avoiding the foaming material overflowing from the seaming of the surround, before gumming the surround up on the foaming material, pre-lay a thin raw rubber type along the seaming portion to screen the under foaming material inside. Or laps joint the both side edges of the surround to get the same effect.

[0009] For avoiding the foaming material overflowing from the both joint ends between the rims of the collar indentation and the surround, before gumming the surround up on the foaming material, pre-lay a raw rubber type on inside of the joint portion for screening the joint separately.

[0010] Due to applying said expanded interlayer, the reactive force of the strike is absorbed to get the damping effect. The grip is moulded in the mould with heating treat so that the attached layers integrate into the core bar. In addition, because the rubber collars are arranged in spacing arrange axially on the surfaces of the hoop rubber and the rubber-fibre composite of the grip to form two different friction coefficients in checker arrange axially, so that the hands grasp at the grip more smoothly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] Referring to FIG. 1, it shows the outlook of the present invention, which is covered with rubber 11 and the rubber-fibre composite 12.

[0021] Referring to FIG. 2 to FIG. 8, the present invention consists of a core bar 2, an expanded sandwiching 3, a surround 4. Wherein, the core bar 2 has a collar indentation 21 for retaining the expanded sandwiching 3 and the surround 4 sequentially from inner to outer; said surround is an anti-slip cover in which the rubber collars are covered on the hoop rubber 11 and rubber-fibre composite 12's surface in spacing arrange axially.

[0022] The above-mentioned grip of golf club may be manufactured as following processing steps:

[0023] Referring to FIG. 2, firstly, pre-mould the core bar 2 with the collar indentation 21, and fill out the foaming material 3′ in the collar indentation 21 for ready (referring to FIG. 3); then referring to FIG. 4, cut out the raw rubber sheet suiting to cover on the outside of the foaming material, and layover the fibre mesh 41 on the raw rubber sheet, next stick the rubber collars 42 on the outside of the fibre mesh layer in spacing arrange axially to combine the surround 4; then gum the combined surround layer 4 up on the core bar collar indentation 21 portion filled with foaming material 3′ for standing by. Finally (referring to FIG. 6) process the semi-finished grip in the mould with heating setting and sulphurating treatment so that the foaming material fills out the space between the collar indentation and the inside of the surround 4 to form a damping interlayer. Meanwhile the surround 4 in the heating setting processing is pressed from the both sides, one is come from inside foaming interlayer, and the another is limited by the die, so that the foaming interlayer and the surround 4 are made in thermal interfusion together to form an integrated grip with an anti-slip surface mechanism—the rubber collars 11 and the rubber-fibre composite 12 in spacing arrange.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 7, in processing, for avoiding the foaming material 3′ overflowing from the seaming of the surround 4 so as to damage the outward appearance, so before gumming the surround 4 up on the foaming material 3′, pre-lay a thin raw rubber type 7 along the seaming portion 43 to screen the seaming line of the surround 4. Or lap joints the both side edges of the surround 4 to get the same effect (unshown in the drawing). As heating process in the mould, the raw rubber type 7 will be interfused with the surround 4 so as to seal the joint of the surround 4 to block the overflowing channel.

[0025] Referring to FIG. 8, for avoiding the foaming material 3′ overflowing from the both joint ends between the rims 22 and joints 23 of the collar indentation 21 and the surround 4 to damage the outward appearance, before gumming the surround 4 up on the foaming material 3′, pre-lay a raw rubber type 7 on inside of the joint portion (in the drawing, a raw rubber ring 7 is placed on the inside end in another operation of the present invention) for screening the joint separately. As heating process in the mould, the pre-laid raw rubber type 7 will be interfused with the surround 4 and the rim 22 of the collar indentation 21 so as to seal the joint portions to block the overflowing channel.
