Leg-swinging exerciser
Leg-swinging exerciser including a foot rest body and a rolling unit. A middle portion of the foot rest body is pivotally supported on the rolling unit. Two ends of the foot rest body are formed with foot rest sections on which a user's feet are rested. When the user's feet exert a transverse pushing force onto the foot rest body, the rolling unit is transversely reciprocally rolled so as to swing and exercise the waist and feet of the user together.
[0001] The present invention is related to a leg-swinging exerciser including a rolling unit and a foot rest body pivotally supported on the rolling unit. A user's feet can be rested on two ends of the foot rest body. When the user's feet exert a transverse pushing force onto the foot rest body, the rolling unit is transversely reciprocally rolled so as to swing and exercise the waist and feet of the user together.
[0002] Conventional exercisers can be divided into large-size ones and small-size ones. The small-size exercisers include swinging ring, rotary disc and swinging exerciser. In use of such exercisers, only a certain part of the user's body is exercised. In addition, some of these exercisers can be used only in certain environments. With respect to swinging ring, the user must revolve his waist to swing the ring so that the waist is exercised. However, the user's legs can be hardly exercised. In addition, when used, the user must pay attention to the environment so as to avoid collision of the swinging ring against other articles. With respect to rotary disc, in use, the user stands on the upper side of the rotary disc and reciprocally treads the rotary disc to make it rotate. Accordingly, the waist of the user is exercised. Such exerciser necessitates smaller room and can be more widely and conveniently used. However, only the waist is exercised, while other parts of the user's body can be hardly exercised. With respect to the swinging exerciser, the user can sit and bow his body to hold handles on front side with both hands. Then the user swings his arms to make the cart body of the exerciser advance so as to exercise his body. However, the power is provided for the cart body by swinging both arms and the upper half of the user's body, while the lower half of the user's body is not exercised. Moreover, such swinging cart necessitates larger room so that it can be hardly conveniently used. An electric leg-swinging exerciser has been developed recently. Such exerciser includes an electric swinging mechanism for driving a swinging seat on which the feet of a user are rested. When swung, the legs and waist of the user are exercised. However, the movement of the swinging exerciser comes from electric mechanism rather than the user himself. Therefore, the exercising effect is limited.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0003] It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a leg-swinging exerciser including a foot rest body and a rolling unit. A middle portion of the foot rest body is pivotally supported on the rolling unit. Two ends of the foot rest body are formed with foot rest sections on which a user's feet are rested and against which the user's feet are leant. When the user's feet and waist together swing to exert a transverse pushing force onto the foot rest body, the rolling unit is transversely reciprocally rolled so as to exercise the waist and feet of the user together. The leg-swinging exerciser can be used in a narrow space.
[0004] The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0005] FIG. 1 is a perspective exploded view of the present invention;
[0006] FIG. 2 is a perspective assembled view of the present invention;
[0007] FIG. 3 is a plane view showing the operation of the present invention; and
[0008] FIG. 4 is a front view of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS[0009] Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 4. The leg-swinging exerciser of the present invention includes a foot rest body 1 and a rolling unit 2. The foot rest body 1 is a support body pivotally mounted on the rolling unit 2. Two ends of the foot rest body 1 are formed with recessed foot rest sections 11 on which a user's feet 3 are horizontally rested. The foot rest body 1 can be a case body having an internal receptacle 12 extending from lower side to upper side. The side walls of the foot rest body 1 are cut with slide ways 131. The end of the slide ways 131 are formed with an enlarged pivot hole 13, whereby a shaft rod 21 of the rolling unit 2 can be guided by the slide ways 131 and inlaid into the pivot hole 13. Several wheels 22 are rotatably fitted on the shaft rod 21. The rolling unit 2 is received in the receptacle 12 of the foot rest body 1 with the wheels 22 partially protruding out of the lower side of the foot rest body 1. The wheels 22 contact with the ground, enabling the foot rest body 1 to transversely move on the ground. The rolling unit 2 can have one single wheel or multiple wheels 22 as necessary. (There are two wheels in this embodiment. ) In addition, auxiliary wheels 23 can be mounted on front and rear sides of the wheels 22 for guiding the foot rest body 1 during transverse movement. Alternatively, the foot rest body 1 can be a frame body (not shown ) having a pivot section at middle portion for pivotally connecting with the shaft rod of the rolling unit.
[0010] In use, a user can sit or lie on one side of the present invention and respectively place two feet 3 on the foot rest sections 11 of the foot rest body 1. The waist and feet of the user cooperatively swing to back and forth move the foot rest body 1 and the rolling unit 2. Accordingly, the waist and feet of the user can be exercised together by the user himself without external power supply.
[0011] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
