Equipment for holding golf outfits

Abstract

Equipment for holding golf outfits which includes a main body board with a connecting member to attach the main body board to a belt of a golf player. Holding members are attached to a front side of the main body board from two ends to form a vertical receiving hole to permit a tee to pass through the hole and be held in position. An elongated hole is formed through the main body with the elongated hole to receive a divot restoring tool with an upper portion of the divot restoring tool being visible.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to an equipment for holding golf outfits, and particularly to one which permits the golf player using it to easily take the outfits held on it for use while playing golf.

[0002] More and more people play golf because the expense of playing golf is not as high as before, and because people are more willing to spend money in raising the level of their recreational activity.

[0003] Besides golf bags, clubs and balls, golf players need use some small golf outfits when playing golf, such as ball position marker, tees and divot restoring tools. A bag for holding a tee and ball position markers, disposed in Taiwan Patent no. 429155 public on Apr. 11, 2001, is provided for helping the golf player carry and take the outfits. However, the bag can only hold one tee and the golf player doesn't have a replacement in the middle of game if the tee is broken. The bag has a long piece of string connecting same to the tee for preventing the tee from getting lost. When the golf player tees off, the bag is likely to fall down to cause the position marker to get lost due to this connection.

[0004] Therefore, it is a main object of the present invention to provide an equipment for holding golf outfits which has more rooms for holding enough outfits, and which permits the golf player to take the outfits from same easily.

[0005] The equipment for holding golf outfits of the present invention includes a main board body, several holding members and a connecting member.

[0006] The connecting member is connected to an upper portion of the main body from both a front end and a middle portion to form a lower portion free to move behind the main body, and a transverse hole above the main body. The lower portion of the connecting member and the rear side of the main body can be each provided with one part of a popper for the holding equipment to be secured to the belt of an user.

[0007] The holding members are each made of a long narrow piece of leather, and sewn on the front side of the main body from two ends for holding a tee,

[0008] The main body further has a vertical elongated hole for receiving a divot restoring tool therein; a magnetic position marker can be attached to an upper iron portion of the divot restoring tool.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an equipment 1 for holding golf outfits according to the present invention includes a main board body having a front board part 101, a middle board part 102, a rear board part 103, several holding members 11, a connecting member 14, a hanging ring 4 and a popper 15.

[0017] The front, the middle and the rear board parts 101, 102 and 103 are made of leather or resilient materials. The front board part 101 has a curved gap 12 on the upper edge and several through holes 1011. The middle board part 102 has an elongated gap 13 extending from the upper edge to a lower portion thereof and has two through holes 1021.

[0018] The holding members 11 are each made of long narrow piece of leather or soft materials, and are each sewn on the rear board part 103 from two ends to have a vertical receiving hole (not numbered). The connecting member 14 is sewn on the front side of the upper portion of the rear board part 103 from a front end portion, and sewn on the rear side of the upper portion of the board part 103 from a middle portion so that a transverse hole 141 defined by the connecting member 14 forms above the rear board part 103. The lower end portion of the connecting member 14 is free to move at the rear side of the board part 103. One part of the popper 15 is attached to the lower end of the connecting member 14, and the other part of the popper 15 is attached to the lower part of the rear side of the board part 103 so that a golf player can carry the holding equipment by inserting the lower end portion of the connecting member 14 through a space between the waist and the belt and joining the two parts of the popper 15 together. Velcros can be used instead of the popper 15. Furthermore, a hanging ring 4 is passed through the transverse hole 141 for permitting the holding equipment to be hung from the clothing of the golf player.

[0019] The middle board part 102 and the front board part 101 are sewn on the rear board part 103 in sequence with the holding members 11 passing through the through holes 1021 of the middle board part 102, and a respective one of the through holes 1011 of the front board part 101; the elongated gap 13 communicates with the curved gap 12 to form an upper opening (not numbered) between the upper portion of the elongated gap 13 and the curved gap 12, and a vertical elongated hole between the boards 101 and 103 for permitting a divot restoring tool 3 (FIG. 5) to pass into the elongated hole with an upper iron end portion showing. A magnetic position marker 31 can be attached to the upper iron end portion of the divot restoring tool 3 as shown in FIG. 5. Patterns or trademarks can be printed on the position marker.

[0020] The vertical receiving holes of the holding members 11 each holds a tee 2 in position; the inner circumference of the receiving holes is smaller than the circumference of the tops of the tees 2 so that the tees won't fall down.

[0021] From the above description, it can be easily understood that the equipment for holding golf outfits in the present invention has desirable features as follows:

[0022] 1. The holding equipment holds several tees for the golf player to have replacements when one of the tees is damaged or lost.

[0023] 2. The holding equipment also can hold divot restoring tools and position markers for permitting the golf player to easily take one if need be.

[0024] 3. The holding equipment can be easily carried on the golf player by means of the popper and the connecting member or by means of the hanging ring according to the user's need.

[0025] 4. There is no string connecting the holding equipment to a tee in use so the equipment can't fall down when the player tees off.

Claims

1. An equipment for holding golf outfits, comprising

a main board body, said main board body having a connecting member connected thereto for attaching same to a belt of a golf player;

a plurality of holding members, said holding members being each attached to a front side of said main board body from two ends to form a vertical receiving hole for permitting a tee to pass through said vertical hole to be held in position;

an elongated hole in said main body; said elongated hole being provided for receiving a divot restoring tool with an upper end portion of said tool showing.

The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main board body consists of a front board part, a middle board part and a rear board part; said middle part and said front part being attached to said rear part in sequence with an elongated gap of said middle part being disposed between said front and said rear parts to communicate with a top curved gap of said front part to form said elongated hole and an upper opening on a top of said elongated hole.

3. The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 2, wherein said middle and said front board parts each has through holes for said holding members to pass through to show.

The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 1, wherein said connecting member is connected to an upper portion of said main body from both a front end and a middle portion to form a transverse hole above said main body; said transverse hole permitting a hanging ring to be connected thereto.

The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 1, wherein said connecting member is connected to an upper portion of a rear side of said main body with a lower portion being free to move; two parts of a popper being attached to said connecting member lower portion and a lower portion of said main body rear side for permitting said equipment to be connected to a belt of a golf player by passing said lower portion between said belt and a waist of said player to joining said parts of said popper together.

6. The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main board body, said connecting member and said holding members are made of leather.

7. The equipment for holding golf outfits as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main board body, said connecting member and said holding members are made of a resilient material.
