Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates generally to a pistol nozzle, and more particularly to a pistol nozzle rack which can be rotated and adjusted in height.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] The conventional pistol nozzle rack has an open grating for holding a plurality of pistol nozzles. The open grating is formed by a plurality of horizontal rods and vertical rods. The horizontal rods are provided with a plurality of curved portions serving to located the pistol nozzles.

[0005] Such conventional pistol nozzle rack as described above is defective in design in that the curved portions do not locate effectively the pistol nozzles, thereby resulting in a disorderly arrangement of the pistol nozzles. In addition, the horizontal rods and the vertical rods of the conventional pistol nozzles obstruct the view of the user of the pistol nozzles, thereby causing a great deal of inconvenience for the user to select a desired pistol nozzle. Moreover, the horizontal rods and the vertical rods are welded together. As a result, the conventional pistol nozzle rack can not be adjusted in height in accordance with the specifications of the pistol nozzles.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a pistol nozzle rack which is free of the drawbacks of the conventional pistol nozzle rack described above.

[0007] The pistol nozzle rack of the present invention comprises a rotary seat, a support rod, and a holding seat. The rotary seat is formed of a rotary disk and a base. The rotary disk is provided in the upper side with a plurality of receiving slots for receiving one end of the grip of the pistol nozzle. The support rod is held at one end by the rotary seat and is adjustable in length. The holding seat is mounted on other end of the support rod and is provided with a plurality of holding slots corresponding in location to the receiving slots of the rotary disk for holding the barrels of the pistol nozzles.

[0008] The features, functions, and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] As shown in FIGS. 1-3, a pistol nozzle rack embodied in the present invention comprises a rotary seat 10, a support rod 20, and a holding seat 30.

[0016] The rotary seat 10 is formed of a rotary disk 11 and a base 12. The rotary disk 11 is provided in the underside with a plurality of projections 13. The base 12 is provided in the upper side with a circular guide slot 14 corresponding in location to the projections 13 of the rotary disk 11. The rotary disk 11 is provided in the upper side with a plurality of receiving slots 15 for receiving one end of a grip 06 of a pistol nozzle 05.

[0017] The support rod 20 is pivoted at the bottom end with the center of the rotary seat 10 such that the support rod 20 is uprightly disposed.

[0018] The holding seat 30 is mounted on the top end of the support rod 20 and is provided with a plurality of holding slots 31 corresponding in location and number to the receiving slots 15 of the rotary disk 11 of the rotary seat 10. The holding slots 31 are intended to hold the barrel of the pistol nozzle 05.

[0019] The rotary disk 11 is provided at the center with a first mount 16, whereas the base 12 is provided at the center with a second mount 17 corresponding in location to the first mount 16. The second mount 17 is provided at the bottom with a stop piece 18. The support rod 20 is pivoted at the bottom end with the center of the rotary seat 10 such that the bottom end of the support rod 20 is mounted in the first mount 16 of the rotary disk 11 and the second mount 17 of the base 12 in conjunction with a fastening bolt 19, and that the bottom end of the support rod 20 turns in the second mount 17 of the base 12. In light of the support rod 20 being fastened with the first mount 16 of the rotary disk 11 by the fastening bolt 19, the rotary disk 11 turns along with the support rod 20 at such time when the support rod 20 is turned in the second mount 17 of the base 12.

[0020] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the receiving slots 15 of the rotary disk are provided with a through hole 151 to accommodate a control lever 07 of the pistol nozzle 05.

[0021] The support rod 20 is expandable and formed of an inner tube 22 and an outer tube 23 into which the inner tube 22 is slidably fitted. The outer tube 23 is provided with an adjustment portion 21 comprising a threaded through hole 24 and a locating knob 25 for locating the inner tube 22 via the threaded through hole 24.

[0022] The holding slots 31 of the holding seat 30 are provided in the inner wall with a retaining portion 32 for retaining the barrel of the pistol nozzle 05.

[0023] The holding slots 31 of the holding seat 30 are different in depth, as illustrated in FIG. 6.

[0024] The embodiment of the present invention described above is to be regarded in all respects as being merely illustrative and not restrictive. Accordingly, the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without deviating from the spirit thereof. The present invention is therefore to be limited only by the scopes of the following claims.
