Abstract: A medical platform is disclosed that can fulfill numerous functional and practical needs of patients and caregivers in a single, simple assembly. The medical platform disclosed herein can replace many of the different medical apparatuses used in a healthcare facility. The combination of features as disclosed herein can permit the medical platform to facilitate patient mobility by combining multiple commonly-used and/or required apparatuses into a single, mobile platform.

Abstract: A dual display assembly, which comprises a base in contact with an underlying surface; a rod unit vertically extending from the base; and two separate touch screens laterally extending from, and attached to, the rod unit. Each of the two touch screens is pivotally displaceable independently with respect to the other screen and is able to be sufficiently locked in position after being displaced to a desired angular position to facilitate touch operations therewith. The the rod unit comprises first and second concentric rods that are rotatable about a vertical axis, and a one-way mechanism that is provided within an annular space between the first and second rods for retaining a touch screen in a locked position.

Abstract: An adjustable pole caddy includes an elongated pole, a shelf including a generally planar surface for supporting at least one object thereon, a clamp having a first aperture and a second aperture, and a fastener extending through the first aperture of the clamp. The second aperture extends around at least a portion of an outer periphery of the pole. In a locked position of the fastener and clamp, an end portion of the fastener engages the pole and at least a portion of the shelf removably engages at least a portion of the clamp. The clamp is secured to the pole and the shelf is secured to the clamp. In a released position of the fastener and clamp, the end portion of the fastener does not engage the pole.

The assembly includes an elongated pole inserted through an outdoor table. A utensil holder has a bottom and a perimeter wall extending upwardly from an outer edge of the bottom. The bottom further has an inner edge defining a hole. The pole is inserted through the hole in the bottom of the utensil holder frictionally coupling the pole to the utensil holder. The spine can be move between a generally horizontal and a generally vertical position. In another embodiment, the spine is detachable from the overhead surface and releasably attached to a floor stand.

The removable image holders may contain images that can be readily replaced. The removable image holders can restrain the images in six directions (up, down, forward, backward, left and right), although restraint may be effected by only friction or gripping, rather than an immovable wall. The removable image holders may be relatively secured to the arms, although they may easily swing for ease of viewing. Abstract: A jewelry holder and display includes an upstanding elongated stem or post the lower end of which is secured to a circular base which, in turn, is rotatably supported on a larger diameter primary base such that the upstanding stem can readily rotate about its longitudinal axis. The stem supports radially located extending pegs and also supports at its upper end a generally cylindrical cup-shaped receptacle member having a plurality of radially located extending pegs selectively secured to its outer circumference for supporting jewelry items such as necklaces, bracelets, watches and the like. The receptacle member has an internal chamber to receive small items of jewelry, such as rings and cuff links. A cover is provided to releasably cover an upper opening in the receptacle chamber which may be lined with a soft felt and can receive a ring support cushion.

Abstract: An artificial palm tree assembly for insertion into a table, preferably a patio table, is provided. The artificial palm tree assembly comprises a palm head comprising a crown element and a plurality of tree elements attached to the crown element of the palm head. Each of the tree elements comprises a branch having a plurality of artificial palm tree leaves thereon. In addition, the artificial palm assembly further comprises a trunk element adapted for installation through an opening in the top of the table. The palm head connects to the trunk element via an attachment formed between a bottom area of the crown element and the top end of the trunk element. Moreover, artificial palm assembly preferably further comprises a base portion for providing support for the palm head and the trunk element of the palm tree assembly installed within the patio table.

The central stem is assembled using a coupling device having means rotatably connecting a plurality of branch arms with brackets, or flower basket hooks, for supporting a plurality of potted plants in a horizontally tiered arrangement and un-obstructing tree configuration. The combination of various length/size brackets in a multi-tier arrangement which can rotate independent from the central stem, allows for an increased number of potted plants to be adequately displayed on a given floor surface.

Two vertical shaft sections screw together to form a vertical pole with elasticized loops attached along the length of the pole in four vertical arrays at cardinal points around the pole. Four triangular support brackets act as legs screwed onto the bottom of the pole at cardinal points aligned with the loop arrays. Each of two opposing pairs of triangular support brackets are screwed onto the pole with the same pair of screws. The support pole may be can be knocked down for compact shipping and storage.

Each boom has a tray supporting platform at one end of a rigid beam and a bearing structure at the other end. The bearing rotatably and removably engages the post so the tray-carrying platform can revolve about the post. The platform attaches to the beam in an offset manner a radial distance beyond the center of gravity of the tray so that a heavier pot will tend to deflect the platform safely toward the post thereby discouraging accidental dumping of the food tray by overloading the boom and/or by rapidly revolving the platform In this way the angled platform provides a centripetal force component to a revolving tray carried on the boom. The platform can be formed from a steel ring sized to support common serving tray shapes. The post can be made hollow to accommodate insertion of an umbrella pole therethrough for use in patio tables.

The bagging pole has a bagging pole upper tube with a C-shaped clip disposed thereon and a bagging pole lower cylinder. The hanging rack has a hanging rack upper tube and a hanging rack lower cylinder, with a crossbar disposed on the hanging rack upper tube. The bagging pole is extendable to first operative position and retractable to a second operative position. After bagging the clothing item and depressing the foot pedal to retract the bagging pole from the first operative position to the second operative position, the clothing item may then be hung on crossbar of the hanging rack.

Abstract: A device for displaying and serving individual-serving-size food items, such as bite-size appetizers. The device has a pedestal, a head fixed to and supported by the pedestal, and spikes for releasably fixing a plurality of the individual-serving-size food items on the head. The pedestal comprises a base and an upwardly-extending support member having an upper end fixed to the head and a lower end fixed to the base. The base includes a receptacle for containing and serving a complimentary accouterment to the appetizer such as a dipping sauce or marinade. The receptacle is removable from the base for filling, emptying and storing the food item contained therein. Preferably, all of the components of the device can be disassembled for cleaning and compact storage.

Abstract: A rack unit for stacking storage medium disks such as compact disks (CDs) in a stacked cylindrical arrangement attached by arms to a vertical post attached to an enlarged base support. The unit includes substantially planar and flat narrow support arms for holding and supporting the disks, so that the disks can be closely stacked to one another. The narrow support ends can include a wider substantially flat and planar support surface having an upwardly protruding and flexible hub portion which can snugly fit within the through-holes of the disks.

Even though each slat board may have a different configuration of protrusions extending from the front surface for holding goods, clips on the back surface of each board are similarly configured to enable any board to be removably coupled to a supporting body. Related methods are also disclosed.
