Hairdressing device

A hairdressing device includes a plurality of hairdressers, a plurality of hair rollers and a plurality of roller cloths respectively wound around each hair roller. Each hairdresser consists of a housing, a power device and a plurality of winding rollers fixed in the housing. The hairdressers are fixed spaced apart on a hanging arm so many persons can receive hairdressing operation synchronously. When finishing operation, a hanging band pulled down from the winding roller may be wound up around the winding roller to hide in the housing, maintaining an outer beauty of the hairdressing device. The roller cloth has a heater and an insulating member completely surrounding the heater, and a layer of ceramic powder having characteristic to produce some heat is coated on the insulating member to add heat to the hair roller.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This invention relates to a hairdressing device, particularly to one possible to carry on hairdressing operation for many persons at the same time, operable quickly and maintaining the outer neat and beautiful shape.

[0002] A conventional hairdressing device generally having a large and heavy round-shaped hair dryer used for only one person and utilizing a plurality of hair rollers with liquid hair chemical to carry on hairdressing.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The objective of the invention is to offer a hairdressing device having a plurality of separate hairdressers to carry on hairdressing for many persons at the same time. The feature of the invention is a plurality of separate hairdressers in conjunction with a plurality of hair rollers respectively wound with a roller cloth. Each hairdresser consists of a housing, a power device fixed in the housing and a plurality of winding rollers fixed in the housing, Then the hairdressers are fixed on a hanging arm to form a hanging hairdressing device so that many persons can receive hairdressing operation at the same time in an open fashion without need of the conventional round-shaped hairdryer. After finishing hairdressing operation, each hanging band of each winding roller can be wound up to be hidden in the housing to maintain beautiful appearance of the hairdressing device. Each roller cloth has a heater of a cylinder shape or an elongate bar shape and an insulating member totally surrounding the heater to keep safe the roller cloth in use. In addition, ceramic powder can be coated on an outer surface of each insulating member to have additional effect of producing some heat.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0020] A preferred embodiment of a hairdressing device in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes a plurality of separate hairdressers 1, which respectively have a housing 11, a power device 12 and a plurality of winding rollers 13.

[0021] The housing 11 consists of an upper half housing 111 with and a lower half housing 112, with screws combining together the upper half and the lower half housing firmly together to have an interior space for containing other components therein.

[0022] The power device 12 is fixed in the housing 11, connected to a plurality of hair rollers 122 with wires 121 to power the hair rollers 122 respectively surrounded with a roller cloth 4 for carrying on hairdressing operation with liquid hair chemical.

[0023] The winding rollers 13 are fixed in the housing 11, respectively having a hanging band 131 wound around thereon. Each hanging band 131 can be automatically wound around each winding roller 13 up and down, having a hook 132 fixed at its outer end for hooking a hair roller 122 for carrying out hairdressing operation.

[0024] The housing 11 of each hairdresser 1 is shaped as a cylinder, and the upper half housing 111 has a connector 14 fixed at one end for connecting with firmly with a fixing base 151 of a hanging arm 15. A plurality of the hairdressers 1 are fixed spaced apart around the fixing base 151 to form a hanging type hairdressing device for carrying on hairdressing operation for many persons at the same time. And the number of the hairdressers 1 may be increased or reduced according to necessity.

[0025] When a hairdresser 1 finishes operation, a control button 133 formed in the center of the winding roller 13 is pressed to let the hanging band 13 automatically wound up around the winding roller 13 to maintain the outer beauty of the hairdressing device.

[0026] Next, FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of a hairdresser in the hairdressing device in the invention.

[0027] The hairdresser 1b of the second embodiment includes a housing 11b, a power device 12b and a plurality of winding rollers 13b.

[0028] The housing 11b is shaped as a sector, consisting of an upper half housing 111b and a lower half housing 112b combined together firmly with screws 113b. The power device 12b is fixed on the bottom of the lower half housing 112b, connected to a plurality of hair rollers 122b with wires 121b for powering a heater in each roller cloth surrounding each hair rollers 122b to produce heat for carrying on hairdressing operation. The housing 11b has many holes 114 near the power device 12b and the winding rollers 13b for the wires 121b and hanging bands 131b to pass through to extend out of the housing 11b. After hairdressing operation is finished, the wires 122b and the hanging bands 131b are wound up to hide in the housing 11b to maintain beauty of the hairdressing device.

[0029] Further, each housing 11b has a tenon 115 and a mortise 116 formed in two opposite sides respectively so a plurality of the hairdressers 1b may be combined together one abutting another to form a many-sides shaped hairdressing device having a plurality of the power devices 12b and the plurality of the winding rollers 13b in their interior, not only having large dimensions and increased strength for carrying on hairdressing for many persons at the same time, with quick operation and easy assembling and disassembling.

[0030] Next, FIG. 6 shows a first embodiment of a controller to be connected to the dressing device. The controller may additionally be connected to the two embodiments of the hairdressers in the invention for controlling each of said hairdressers 1, 1b and each of said power devices 12, 12b in controlling needed temperature and using time of all the hairdressers and all the power devices. The controller 2 includes a power switch 21 for turning on and off the controller 2, a display 22 for indicating the number and set needed temperature and using time the each hairdresser, a temperature/time controlling key 23 for controlling needed temperature and using time of each hairdresser 1, 1b and each power device 12, 12b, a three digit adjusting key 24 increasing 100°/minute by pushing up the key 24 once and decreasing 100°/minute by pushing down the key 24 once, a two digit adjusting key 25 increasing 10°/minute by pushing up the key 25 once and decreasing 10°/minute by pushing down the key 25 once, a one digit adjusting key 26 increasing 1°/minute by pushing up the key 26 once and decreasing 1°/minute by pushing down the key 26 once, a power device selecting key 27 for selecting the power device by increasing the number by 1 pushing up the key 27 once and decreasing the number by 1 by pushing down the key 27 once, a whole set key 28 for setting the temperature to be used and the time for using the temperature of all the hairdressers and all the power devices, and a start key 29 for start operation of the already set hairdressers and the power devices.

[0031] The controller 2 can set the needed temperature and the using time of the hairdressers and the power devices respectively or all together at the same time, If the hairdressers are to be set respectively, press the number of the hairdresser by means of the temperature/time control key 23 for setting the needed temperature and then utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25, 26 for adjusting the needed temperature value. Then press one again the temperature/time control key 23 of the same number, then the needed temperature of the hairdresser of that number is set, and utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25, 26 for adjusting the needed temperature. After the needed temperature and the using time of the hairdresser of the number has been set, then press the start key 29 to start the hairdresser of the number to operate. After that, a worker continue to set another hairdresser, and after all the hairdressers needed to be used have been set, then press the start key 29 to start all the hairdressers to operate.

[0032] The controller 2 can also control all the power devices respectively in the needed temperature and the using time. The press the temperature/time control key 23 of the needed number for setting the needed temperature of the hairdresser of the number, and utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25 26 to adjust the temperature of the power device. Then press once again the temperature/time control key 23, and the needed temperature of the hairdresser of the number can be set, and then use the power device selecting key 27 to select the number of the power device to be set, and then utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25, 26 for adjusting the using time of the power device. After the first power device has been set, then the next power device is to be set in the needed temperature and the using time until all the power devices needed have been set. Then press the start key 29 to let the already set hairdressers operate.

[0033] The controller 2 can also set at the same time all hairdressers and the power devices in the needed temperature and the time. Then press once the whole set key 28, and then all the lamps of the temperature/time control keys 23 of all the numbers will lit up. Then set at the same time each hairdresser and each power device in the needed temperature, and utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25, 26 for adjusting the temperature value. If the whole set key 28 is pressed once again, every hairdresser and every power device can be set at the same time for the using time, and utilize the adjusting keys 24, 25, 26 for adjusting the time value, and finally the start key 29 is pressed to let all the hairdressers operate.

[0034] Next, FIG. 7 shows a second embodiment of a controller. The controller 3 of the second embodiment includes a power switch 31 for turning on and off the controller 3, a display 32 for indicating the number, the needed temperature and the using time of each hairdresser and each power device, a temperature/time control key 33 for controlling the needed temperature and the using time of each hairdresser and each power device, a three digit adjusting key 34 increasing 100°/minute by pressing up the key 34 and decreasing 100°/minute by pressing down the key 34, a two digit adjusting key 35 increasing 10°/minute by pressing up the key 35 and decreasing 10°/minute by pressing down the key 35, a one digit adjusting key 36 increasing 1°/minute by pressing down the key 36, a power device selecting key 37 for selecting the number of the power device increasing one by pressing up the key 37 and decreasing one by pressing down the key 37, a hairdresser selecting key 38 for selecting the number of the hairdresser increasing one by pressing up the key 38 and decreasing one by pressing down the key 38, a whole set key 39 for setting the needed temperature and the using time of all the hairdressers and all the power devices respectively by pressing once the key 39 for setting all the needed temperature and the using time of all the hairdressers and all the power devices together at the same time, and a start key 40 for starting the already set hairdressers and the already set power devices to operate.

[0035] The controller 3 can also set respectively or all together the needed temperature and the using time of the hairdressers and the power devices. Then press once the whole set key 39, and the hairdressers and the power devices are respectively set in the needed temperature and the using time. Then press the temperature/time control key 33 for setting the needed temperature and the using time of each hairdresser and each power device to be used. Next, use the hairdresser selecting key 38 and the power device selecting key 37 for selecting the number of the hairdresser and the power device, and utilize the adjusting keys 34, 35 36 for adjusting the needed temperature value. Then press once again the temperature/time control key 33 for setting the using time of each hairdresser and each power device. Next, use the hairdresser selecting key 38 and the power device selecting key 37 for selecting the number of the hairdresser and the power device to be used, and then use the adjusting keys 34, 35, 36 for adjusting the using time value. Finally press the start key 40 to let the already set hairdressers and the already set power devices operate.

[0036] Furthermore, If the whole set key 39 is pressed once more, the needed temperature and the using time of each hairdresser and each power device can be set a the same time, and only press once the temperature/time control key 33, and the needed temperature of every hairdresser and every power device can be set at the same time. Then utilize the adjusting keys 34, 35 36 for adjusting the needed temperature value. Next press once more the temperature/time control key 33, and the using time of every hairdresser and every power device can be set synchronously, and utilize the adjusting keys 34, 35, 36 for adjusting the using time value. Finally press the start key 40 to let all the hairdressers and all the power devices operate.

[0037] Next FIGS. 8, 9, 10, and 11 show respectively a first embodiment, a second embodiment, a third embodiment and the fourth embodiment of a roller cloth 4.

[0038] The roller cloth 4 is wound around an outer surface of a hair roller 122, consisting of a heater 41 and an insulating member 42.

[0039] The heater 41 is connected to wires 411 to conduct electricity from the power device to let the heater produce heat.

[0040] The insulating member 42 completely surrounds the heater 41, ensuring safety during using the hairdresser. A layer of ceramic powder 421 may be coated on the surface of the insulating member 42 to produce some heat owing to its characteristic, but the layer of ceramic powder may not be necessary to let the roller cloth produce heat.

[0041] Two or more heaters 41 may be surrounded by the insulating member 42, having a cylindrical shape and connected to wires 411 to conduct electricity from the power device, and a layer of ceramic powder 421 may or may not be coated on the surface of the insulating member.

[0042] Further, the heater 41 may be shaped as an elongate bar instead of a cylindrical shape, and connected to wires 411 to conduct electricity from the power device to let the heater 41 produce heat. And as described above, a layer of ceramic powder may or may not be coated on the surface of the insulating member 42. In addition, one or more pieces of the roller cloths 4 may be wound on the hair roller for hairdressing operation.

[0043] Next, FIGS. 12 and 13 show a fifth embodiment of a roller cloth in the present invention. The heater 41 is covered with a layer of insulating member 42 and attached in an inner side of a pincher 43. Further a socket 431 is fixed on an inner side of a rear end of the pincher 43, for connecting electric wires 411 of the heater 41 to heat up by electricity to proceed hairdressing. The socket 431 can connect with a plug of a power wire to supply power to the heater 41 or the pincher 43 and the heater are in advance heated and then the plug is disconnected from the socket for proceed hairdressing. A user directly places a hair roller 45 wound around with hair in the inner space of the pincher 43 to be heated by the heater 41 to get effect of hairdressing. The shape of the hair roller 45 may be different, such as curved, triangular, many-sides, flat, round, etc.

[0044] Next, FIGS. 14 and 15 show a sixth embodiment of a roller cloth, having a heater 41 fixed in a heat conducting member 46 and the insulating member 42 envelops the heater 41 and the heat conducting member 46, and then placed in the pincher 43 for proceed hairdressing.

[0045] Or the heater 41 is covered with the insulating member 42 and then fixed in the heat conducting member 46 and then placed in the pincher 43 to proceed hairdressing.

[0046] While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A hairdressing device possible to be used to carry on hairdressing operation for many persons at the same time, said hairdressing device comprising:

A plurality of hairdressers;
A plurality of hair rollers;
A plurality of roller cloths respectively wound around each said hair roller;
Each said hairdresser comprising;
A housing consisting of an upper half housing and a lower half housing and having a hollow interior for fixing other components therein;
A plurality of winding rollers fixed in said housing, respectively having a hanging band wound around thereon, said hanging band possible to be pulled down and automatically wound up around each said winding roller, each said hanging band attached with a hook at its outer end, said hook hooking one of said hair rollers wound with one said roller cloth for carrying on hairdressing operation with liquid hair chemical; and,
a power device mounted in said housing to supply electricity to said roller cloths, connected with wires with said hair rollers so as to electrify said hair rollers to produce heat for hairdressing operation.

2. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said housing is shaped as a cylinder.

3. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said housing is shaped as a sector.

4. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 2, wherein each said cylindrical housing has its one end fixed with a connector, said connector connecting said housing firmly to a fixing base of a hanging arm, with the number of said hairdresser increased or decreased according to necessity.

The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 3, wherein each said sector-shaped housing has a tenon formed in a side surface and a mortise formed in an opposite side surface of said tenon so two neighboring hairdressers may be connected with each other to form said hairdressing device having a polygon shape.

6. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said winding roller has a control button fixed in a center, and said control button is pressed to force said hanging band automatically wound around said winding roller.

7. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said housing has many holes near said power device and said winding rollers for said wires and said hanging bands to pass through to extend out of said housing down.

8. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a controller is additionally combined with said hairdressers for controlling needed temperature and using time of each said hairdresser and each said power device, said controller comprising:

A power switch for turning on an off said controller;
A display for indicating the number, needed temperature and using time of said hairdressers and said power devices already set;
A temperature/time control key for controlling needed temperature and using time of each said hairdresser and each said power device;
A three digit adjusting key increasing 100°/minute by pressing up said three digit adjusting key and decreasing 100°/minute by pressing down said three digit adjusting key;
A double digit adjusting key increasing 10°/minute by pressing up said double digit adjusting key and decreasing 10°/minute by pressing down said double digit adjusting key;
One digit adjusting key increasing 1° /minute by pressing up said one digit adjusting key and decreasing 1°/minute by pressing up said one digit adjusting key and decreasing 1°/minute by pressing down said one digit adjusting key;
A power device selecting key for selecting a number of said power device needed by pressing up said power device electing key to increase 1 to the number and to decrease one from the number;
A whole set key for setting needed temperature and using time of all said hairdressers and all said power devices; and,
A start key for stating all hairdressers already set and all said power devices already set for hairdressing operation.

9. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 8, wherein said controller comprising:

A power switch for turning on and off said controller;
A display for indicating the number, temperature needed and using time of each hairdresser and each power device already set;
A temperature/time controlling key for controlling needed temperature and using time of each said hairdresser and each said power device;
A three digit adjusting key increasing 100°/minute by pressing up said three digit adjusting key and decreasing 100°/minute by pressing down said three digit adjusting key;
A double digit adjusting key increasing 10°/minute by pressing up said double digit adjusting key and decreasing 10°/minute by pressing down said double digit adjusting key;
A one digit adjusting key increasing 1°/minute by pressing up said one digit adjusting key and decreasing 1°/minute by pressing down said one digit adjusting key;
A power device selecting key for selecting a number of said power devices by pressing up said power device selecting key to increase 1 to the number and by pressing down said power device selecting key to decrease 1 from the number;
A hairdresser selecting key for selecting a number of said hairdressers by pressing up said hairdresser selecting key to increase 1 to the number and decreasing 1 from the number by pressing down said hairdresser selecting key;
A whole set key for setting needed temperature and using time of all said hairdressers and all said power devices by pressing once said whole set key, and pressing one for setting needed temperature and using time synchronously for all said hairdressers and all said power devices; and,
A start key for starting said hairdressers and said power devices already set for hairdressing operation.

10. A hairdressing device formed as a hanging style for carrying out hairdressing operation for many persons at the same time, said hairdressing device comprising a plurality of hairdressers, a plurality of hair rollers and a plurality of roller cloths, said roller cloths respectively consisting of a heater connected with wires for conducting electricity to let said heater produce heat and a plurality of insulating members respectively completely surrounding each said heater to keep safety in using.

11. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein a layer of ceramic powder is additionally coated on an outer surface of said insulating member of each said roller cloth, said ceramic powder having characteristics to produce some heat to increase heat to each said roller cloth.

12. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said insulating member is not coated with the layer of said ceramic powder.

13. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein each said roller cloth has at least two of said heaters surrounded by said insulating member, each said heater shaped cylindrical and connected to wires to conduct electricity to each said heater.

14. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said heater of said roller cloth is shaped an elongate bar.

15. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein at least two roller cloths surround each said hair roller for carrying on hairdressing operation.

16. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said heater of said roller cloth is covered with an insulating member and then attached in an inner side of a pincher, a socket is fixed on inner side of a rear portion of said pincher for connecting wires with said heater to power said heater to proceed hairdressing.

17. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 16, wherein said pincher receives therein a hair roller wound with hair, and said heater produces heat to proceed hairdressing, and the shape of said hair roller may be different such as curved, triangular, poly-sided, round and flat, round, etc.

18, The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 16, wherein said heater is in advance fixed in said heat conducting member, then said insulating member is covered on said heater and said heat conducting member, and then said heater together with said heat conducting member and said insulating member are installed in said pincher.

19. The hairdressing device as claimed in claim 16, wherein said insulating member covers in advance said heater, then fixed in said heat conducting member, and then said insulating member, said heater and said heat conducting member are together installed in said pincher.
