BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The No Drip Coster, is to be used in the home and office or anywhere a coster is desired.

[0005] Problem with exsisting costers:

[0006] 1. Puddling of water in the coster.

[0007] 2. Spillage or Spilling.

[0008] 3. Drips from the drinking vessel.

[0009] 4. Coster sticks to the drinking vessel.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0010] By using an absorbent pad and a plastic holder body, The No Drip Coster primary function is to reduce or eliminate puddling, spillage and drips from a drinking vessel, which occur due to condensation build up in a coster from a iced drink. In addition to drawing the puddling away from the drinking vessel base will allow the coster NOT to stick to the drinking vessel or too be relocated other than self placed.

BRIEF DISCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

[0011] The coster holder body is a round plastic device. upper and lower rings moulded to a base.

[0012] 1. Four inch outer diameter

[0013] 2. One half inch in height

[0014] 3. Three and one half inch inner diameter

[0015] 4. One eight inch thick base area

[0016] 5. One fourth inch thick ring/wall vessel area)

[0017] 6. One fourth inch in height ring/wall (vessel area)

[0018] 7. One fourth inch thick (base ring)

[0019] 8. One eighth inch height (base ring)

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] The No Drip Coster primary function is to reduce or eliminate puddling, spillage and drips from a drinking vessel, which occur due to condensation build up in a coster. By using an absorbant pad we have been able to retain approximently one tablespoon of fluid in the coster body without spillage and drips until maximum saturation point is reached. (Two to Three hours of continues use)

[0021] The plastic body is made by a plastic injection molding process. The shape of the holder is to hold an absorbent pad mounted on the base in the upper ring area. The lower ring is to suspend the base and the upper ring works with the pad to retaine any excess fluid that may develop.

[0022] The absorbent pad will be cut to fit the plastic holder base. Its a non woven fabric known as Coform. The type we are using is a 190 GSM with a plastic film to where adhesive is applied to hold it to the plastic coster body base. A low tack adhesive will be used for pad replacement.

Claims

1. What we claim by using a plastic coster body with an absorbent pad (whether it to be natural or synthetic) we can reduce or eliminate spillage, drips and the coster body sticking to the bottom to the drinking vessel.
