Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of The Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a precaution hose, and particularly to a precaution hose, which can be filled with the liquid and the lower part of the periphery thereof presses against the floor by way of the inner liquid pressure thereof to keep the floodwater or the chemical agent out.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] Due to a sudden change of climate and the excessive exploited earth, the earth almost has lost the function of conservation thereof. For this reason, the low-lying land may be subjected to a threat of being invaded and attacked by the flood and, especially, the lower levels of a building, the public place, the railroad station (the metro rapid train system), and etc. are in their guard against all possible dangers. In case of a little carelessness, the flood may damage the articles, and, more seriously, the people may be hurt or died such that the physical and intangible assets may come to nothing. An ordinary chemical engineering factory usually provides chemical tanks to receive the chemical agent such as the strong acid or the strong base. If the pressure in the chemical tank is excessive high or the chemical tank itself is aged without repair to result in being broken, the harmful chemical agent may flow randomly all around and it can be thought as a flood of chemical agent.

[0005] Mostly, a way of prevention against the flood used at the present time is to aggregate sand bags, that is, the sand bags are arranged to aggregate one by one to keep the flood out and then, the sand bags are removed afterward. However, the articles may be damaged if the preparation for aggregating the sand bags is a little late and it is troublesome if there is no proper place for piling the sand bags after the flood so as to become a perplex of environmental conservation. Hence, it is not unfavorable for the immediacy and the mobility of the precaution job if the sand bags are utilized it derives the problems of the recycling and the environment conservation afterward. Alternatively, an elevated mechanical baffle is utilized for keeping out the flood and provides considerable effect for keeping out the flood. However, the lifted structure of the mechanical baffle is buried in a preset location such as the top above the car passage, but it is easily submerged to become useless. Moreover, the mechanical baffle is expensive and most of the ordinary residents cannot afford to buy it so that it is not possible to be adopted popularly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0015] Referring to FIG. 1, a precaution hose of the present invention basically is a hollow cylindrical body 11 made of high molecular material such as the rubber or the plastics with an inner reinforced layer (like the fiber or the plastics, which is conventional and not shown) to strengthen the structural stress thereof. The hollow cylindrical body 11 has been cut into a required length as the actual need. For instance, it can be a length between two doorframes in accordance with the regulation of the architectural rule. Both opening ends of the cylindrical body 11 are closed with a seal plate 12 to constitute a liquid seal respectively such that the two seal plates 12 can be attached to the edges of a gap being blocked such as the gap between two doorframes. Further, the precaution hose 1 is provided with at least a valve 13 for admitting or discharging the water.

[0016] When it heavily rains suddenly, the user can fill the precaution hose with liquid through the valve 13 from the tap water source or the hydrant such that the hose can expand gradually till the liquid is filled up the cylindrical body 11 completely and the seal plates 12 pressed against the edges of the gaps tightly. The lower part of the cylindrical body 11 can tightly press the floor because of the water pressure therein. A further explanation is described hereinafter with regard to the block function of the precaution hose. When the water level of the flood is lower than the precaution hose, the cylindrical body 11 is not possible to be moved away because the water pressure in the cylindrical body 11 is greater than the outside pressure. When the flood has the water lever thereof higher than the precaution hose 1, the cylindrical body can rebound against the flood so as to dilute the pressure of the flood and keep itself in place without drifting away because the water pressure of the cylindrical body 11 is the same as the flood and the cylindrical body 11 has an arc surface like a spherical surface.

[0017] Besides, in order to increase the durability of the hollow cylindrical body 11, the outer surface thereof may be provided with a protect layer 14. Fir instance, the outer surface thereof is adhered with at least a layer of non-woven cloth to enhance the functions of anti-scratch, anti-impact, and anti-break so as to prolong the life span of the precaution hose.

[0018] When the flood is out, the only thing has to be done by the user is to open the valve 13 till the liquid is discharged completely. Then, the precaution hose can be folded up and kept in store for a next use. Therefore, the precaution hose of the present invention offers advantages of being set up easily, simple steps in the process of being set up and being useable repeatedly.

[0019] Further, as the foregoing, the precaution hose 1 of the present invention preferably has a cross section of round or ellipse in use. However, the lower part of should be a spherical surface so as to hold the floor closely.

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, a mobile type precaution hose is illustrated. The respective end plate 12 at both lateral sides thereof axially connects a support part respectively such that the two support parts 2 are pulled outward laterally to be attached to the edges of the gap. Thus, the mounting job for the precaution hose is complete before the liquid can be filled in the hollow cylindrical body 11 through the valve 13 in accordance with the preceding steps as shown in FIG. 2. In order to avoid the flood exerting an excessive impact to the hollow cylindrical body 11, at least a stopper 3 is arranged under the hollow cylindrical body 11 opposite to the impacted side of the hollow cylindrical body 11, and, especially, the stopper 3 provides a top thereof corresponding to the outer surface of the hollow cylindrical body to enhance the ability of fixing in place without moving. When the precaution hose is not in use, the liquid in the hollow cylindrical body 11 is discharged completely and the two support parts 2 are placed to close to each other such that the size of the precaution hose 1 can be reduced greatly.

[0021] Referring to FIG. 5, a stationary type precaution hose is illustrated and is utilized at an entrance/exit of a building. The precaution hose 1 at the lower part thereof may be provided with a plurality of fastening pieces 15 so that the precaution hose 1 can be fixed in a channel flute 4. The seal plates 2 provide at least two valves 13 laterally, for instance, one of the valves 13 is a unidirectional inlet valve 131 and the other one is a unidirectional outlet valve 132. Each of the two valves 131, 132 may connect with a respective pump (not shown) to facilitate an increase of the speed for incoming water/discharged water. When the hollow cylindrical body is filled with the liquid, the lower part thereof may keep contact with the bottom of the channel flute 4 so as to keep the flood off coming into the channel flute 4. Thus, the stopped water has an actual altitude equal to the height of the precaution hose subtracting the depth of the channel flute. Hence, it can attain a protection for the building without extra job of handling or mounting the precaution hose. In addition, the liquid needed by the precaution hose can be supplied by way of the fire control pipeline or the hydrants available nearby under the safety rule of fire control and protection once the power is out and the water source is not possible to be supplied successfully.

[0022] Referring to FIG. 6, two opposite inner wall surfaces of the channel flute 4 provides a resilient projection 14 respectively so that the hollow cylindrical body 11 can touch the resilient projections 14 tightly as soon as the precaution hose 1 is fully filled with the liquid. In this way, not only the precaution hose 1 can be protected from being broken but also it is possible to increase the friction force and the intimate contact between the channel flute 4 and the precaution hose 1. Thus, it is effective for the three ways of protections to avoid flood seeping into the building.

[0023] Referring to FIG. 7, the channel flute 4 at the rear side thereof is hinged with a cover plate 42 such that the cover plate 42 can lay over the channel flute 4 to form a flat passage for being passed through by people or vehicles before the precaution hose 1 being filled with the liquid and can open gradually till a position of full open is reached as soon as the hollow cylindrical body 11 is filled with the liquid. In this way, it is helpful for supporting the precaution hose 1 and it is possible to produce a reaction force for the precaution hose 1 preventing from displacement against the floodwater.

[0024] It is appreciated from the preceding description that the precaution hose of the present invention is filled with the liquid so as to provide an inner liquid pressure of the precaution hose such that the precaution hose can be kept stationary. Further, the gravity of liquid allows the precaution hose at the lower part thereof pressing against the floor tightly to keep out the flood. Hence, a principle of blocking and sealing with regard to the prevention from the flood by way of the water and the hose is applied sufficiently. In addition, the precaution hose regardless the mobile type or the stationary type is possible to avoid the convenience resulting from piling up the sand bags and to offer the effect of mobility and immediacy so that it is not possible to occur the problem of the environmental preservation derived from the sand bags after use, and it is not necessary to worry about the problem with regard to the high cost of an elevated mechanical guard.

[0025] While the invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined in the appended claims.
