Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of The Invention:

[0002] The present invention relates to headwear provided with a mobile phone securing device.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art:

[0004] Mobile phones are mainstream telecommunication devices. The mobility provided by mobile phones enables users to intercommunicate any time, which is very important to people today.

[0005] At present, one conventional way of carrying a mobile phone is to put the mobile phone in bag provided with a fastener which is fastened to the belt of the user. For a female user, the mobile phone may be carried by means of a necklace, or, the fastener is removed and the mobile phone is simply put in a handbag. However, basically, the users have to hold the mobile phone when using the phone.

[0006] In order to avoid telecommunication interference during driving, there is available the so-called hand-free device, in which a telephone conversation is conducted through a microphone and a loudspeaker, thereby eliminating the need to hold the mobile phone. Many countries have also set rules prohibiting the use of hand-held mobile phones while driving. Hand-free devices are therefore necessary.

[0007] However, the aforesaid hand-free devices are mainly directed to car drivers, and are not suitable for motorcyclists and those who wear helmets or caps.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The primary object of the present invention is to provide headwear that is provided with a mobile phone securing device to meet the needs of users.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0009] The foregoing and other features and advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description and the accompanying drawings, in which,

[0010] FIG. 1 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 2 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment in a state of use;

[0012] FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment when provided with a securing plate; and

[0013] FIG. 4 is a schematic view of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0014] Initially, the headwear member adopted herein refers to helmets, safety helmets, hats, etc.

[0015] With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, the headwear member in the present invention at least has a portion that shields the ears of the user. The inner portion of the headwear member may be provided with a lining, as in a safety helmet for motorcycles. As such is well known in the art, a detailed discussion is not provided herein for the sake of brevity.

[0016] The present invention is different from the prior art in that a mobile phone securing device 1 is provided on an inner wall of the headwear member at a position corresponding to the ear of the user.

[0017] As shown in FIG. 1, the securing device 1 essentially includes two fastening bands 11 each of which has a first end secured to the inner wall of the headwear member, and a second end forming a fastening portion 111 that is fastenable with the fastening portion 111 of the other one of the fastening bands 11. Referring to FIG. 2, after a mobile phone is disposed within the securing device 1, the fastening portions 111 of the fastening bands 11 are connected to thereby secure the mobile phone on the securing device 1. Hence, the mobile phone is disposed in the headwear and proximate to the ear and mouth portions of the user to permit communication via the mobile phone.

[0018] Referring to FIG. 3, to facilitate mounting, the first end of each fastening band 11 may be secured to a securing plate 12. The securing plate 12 has a back side secured to the inner wall of the headwear member to achieve the same effect. The way of securing may be via applying adhesive, sewing, or riveting.

[0019] In addition, referring to FIG. 4, the securing device 4 may be securing loops 13 formed from elastic material to confine a space for passage of and securing the mobile phone, thereby securing the mobile phone tightly thereon. In order to facilitate mounting, the securing loops 13 can be connected to a securing plate 14, which is then secured to the inner wall of the headwear member.

[0020] By virtue of the present invention, those who need to wear headwear, like engineering personnel, hikers, and motorcyclists, can use the mobile phone hand-free. Besides, the present invention is easy to install, inexpensive to fabricate, and convenient to use.

[0021] Although the present invention has been illustrated and described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it should be understood that it is in no way limited to the details of such embodiments but is capable of numerous modifications within the scope of the appended claims.
