Description
I. BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

[0001] EZ Access Table became a vision of John E. Mason through an unfortunate circumstance that he encountered sixteen years ago. While diving into a swimming pool, John broke his neck causing permanent paralysis from the chest down. From this point forward, John's life was altered in ways he never could have imagined. Special equipment was needed to assist him in performing his daily routines. Essentially needed was a hospital table, which was pertinent to his independent living.

[0002] While using the hospital table he quickly realized how poorly accessible the table was designed and visually unappealing. John had to be very careful approaching a conventional hospital table in his wheelchair, if not he would move to table out of the position he had it set. This could be disastrous to John because it causes him to knock items of the table and prohibit from being independent. The access to the table is limited to a wheelchair, which makes it difficult for John to perform certain tasks on a daily bases.

[0003] From this passionate inner drive, John immediately set a goal to create a table that would be more accessible and have a look of contemporary furniture. This inner vision inspired him to create the EZ Access Table. The EZ Access Table provide John the ability to be more independent and to perform other tasks on a daily bases.
