Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a hook device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a hook device which can hook a heavy article safely.

[0002] A first conventional safety hook is often soldered with a safety buckle. However, the conventional safety hook and the safety buckle are weakened by the heat treatment. Thus the conventional safety hook and the safety buckle will be broken while carrying a heavy article.

[0003] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 1A, a second conventional safety hook has a main body 10′ having a generally C-shaped portion 11′ and a generally J-shaped portion 12′, a spring 50′ surrounding the main body 10′, a safety fastener 20′, and a rivet 40′ fastening the safety fastener 20′ and the main body 10′ together. The spring 50′ surrounds a portion of the safety fastener 20′. However, a through hole should be formed on the main body 10′ in order to receive the rivet 40′. Then a structure of the main body 10′ will be weakened by the heat treatment while the main body 10′ is carbonized. The main body 10′ is easily broken while receiving a heavy article.

[0004] Referring to FIG. 2, a third conventional safety hook has a main body 10″ having a generally C-shaped portion 11″ and a generally J-shaped portion 12″, a spring 50″ surrounding the main body 10″, a safety fastener 20″, and a rivet 40″ fastening the safety fastener 20″ and the main body 10″ together. Since a diameter of the safety fastener 20″ is the same as a diameter of the generally J-shaped portion 12″, a rope which is hooked by the generally C-shaped portion 11″ will slide to the generally J-shaped portion 12″ easily.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a hook device which can hook a heavy article safely.

[0006] Another object of the present invention is to provide a hook device which has a movable fastener surrounding a main body without any rivet so that a structure of the main body will not be weakened.

[0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a movable fastener which has a hooking end to engage with a generally C-shaped portion of a main body stably.

[0008] Another object of the present invention is to provide a movable fastener which has a generally ring-shaped elastic portion having an incurved end to engage with a generally J-shaped portion of a main body stably.

[0009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a movable fastener which is detachable to confine a rope to be hooked on a generally J-shaped portion of a hook device.

[0010] Accordingly, a hook device comprises a main body having a generally C-shaped portion and a generally J-shaped portion, and a movable fastener having a winding portion enclosing the generally C-shaped portion, a hooking end extending from the winding portion to hook the generally C-shaped portion of the main body, and a generally ring-shaped elastic portion extending from the winding portion to block the generally J-shaped portion of the main body. The hooking end of the movable fastener engages with the generally C-shaped portion of the main body stably. The generally ring-shaped elastic portion of the movable fastener has an incurved end to engage with the generally J-shaped portion of the main body stably.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 7, a hook device comprises a generally S-shaped main body 10 having a generally C-shaped-portion 11 and a generally J-shaped portion 12, and a movable fastener 30 having a winding portion 31 enclosing the generally C-shaped portion 11, a hooking end 32 extending from the winding portion 34 to hook the generally C-shaped portion 11 of the main body 10, and a generally ring-shaped elastic portion 33 extending from the winding portion 34 to block the generally J-shaped portion 12 of the main body 10.

[0021] The hooking end 32 of the movable fastener 30 engages with the generally C-shaped portion 11 of the main body 10 stably.

[0022] The generally ring-shaped elastic portion 33 of the movable fastener 30 has an incurved end 34 to engage with the generally J-shaped portion 12 of the main body 10 stably.

[0023] The present invention has the following advantages. The hook device hooks a heavy article safely. The movable fastener surrounds the main body without any rivet, so a structure of the main body will not be weakened. The movable fastener has the hooking end to engage with the generally C-shaped portion of the main body stably. The generally ring-shaped elastic portion has the incurved end to engage with the generally J-shaped portion of the main body stably.

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 4 to 7, the winding portion 31 of the movable fastener 30 passes through an end of the second generally C-shaped portion 12 of the main body 10 to a middle portion of the main body 10. When the generally ring-shaped elastic portion 33 of the movable fastener 30 blocks the generally J-shaped portion 12 of the main body 10, a rope (not shown in the figures) which is hooked on the second generally C-shaped portion 12 will not be released from the second generally C-shaped portion 12.

[0025] Referring to FIG. 8, another hook device comprises a generally J-shaped main body 10a having a first generally C-shaped portion 11a and a second generally C-shaped portion 12a, and a movable fastener 30a having a winding portion 31a enclosing an end of the first generally C-shaped portion 11a, a hooking end 32a extending from the winding portion 34a to hook the first generally C-shaped portion 11 of the main body 10, and a generally ring-shaped elastic portion 33a extending from the winding portion 34a to block an end of the second generally C-shaped portion 12a of the main body 10a.

[0026] The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments but various modification thereof may be made. Furthermore, various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
